This case worked for 2 mo ths then stopped working. I also bought one for my s8+ it stopped after 4 months. Cool idea just bad quality

I was excited about this cover. Although the quality is good just overall it was not for me. It's not very efficient.

I didn’t like it because I couldn’t manage the cover open with one hand very well. Seems too cumbersome.

Cool concept but it's hard to keep case open to use phone without flipping behind completely

I had a choice between this case and the successor to the original S-View case. I chose this case, and I'm happy with my choice. The case uses your phone's NFC capability (same technology as Samsung Pay, AirPrint, etc) to both power the case and display info (it's a minuscule battery drain; I actually haven't even noticed a difference). The case displays the caller ID of a caller (and if I've given the caller a designated icon, it'll also display the icon), and I'm able to swipe the case to answer or reject the call. The case will also tell me when I receive, or miss, a text (via an icon; it won't display the actual text on the screen). It'll also display battery life percentage, while charging. My favorite part of the phone, however, is how it displays the time; it's not a simple on/off of the time - it's what seems like a random illumination of the current time's individual LEDs, until the time is fully displayed. That description doesn't really do it justice, but for a tech nerd, it's awesome. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is because I would have liked to have seen the case made of a more "grabby" material. I've had it slip off my lap, console, etc., while driving, but this is a small annoyance to an otherwise spectacular case. You'll be happy with your purchase.

Very fragile, slightest tap or drop will make the led cover stop working permanently

The product was of low quality and did not hold up even for a short period.

Leds quit working over time and case tore where it folds.

I bought it because it was convenient and I didn't have to open my phone to see who was calling. But after a few days it died out and it's never lit up since very very disappointed. I wish Best Buy would exchange it for another one.

When I saw this I fell in love with the design. Mine however was defective and did not work as described. Took it back and they did not have another so I had to change the case for another type

the case concept is great, but the case is pretty flimsy, it is already tearing at the spine, and I haven't had it very long

This is a nice case for Samsung Note 8.... lots of cool features, but sides started cracking in less than 3 months!

SCRATCHED my NOTE-8 Screen badly in little over a month. Both left top and bottom corners. Threw it in the trash can.

The screen cover wouldn’t stay closed and the plastic piece my phone went in broke.

I love this case. The LED screen is really cool. However, when it drops the case flips open and the phone lands upside and sometimes hits the ground. I have a few scratches from that because my screen shield cracked already, so I was waiting for a replacement. The cover needs something to keep it closed and locked in place. The cover is flimsy. That is my only complaint, other than that great product!

Love the blue on blue cover. Have the grey one, but it blended with dark surfaces so I could not easily spot it. I was putting stickers on the grey one so it was more obvious to see. The Blue cover is a soft/muted medium tone and is easily noticed on dark surfaces. The Gray one has white LEDs, while the blue one has light blue LEDs. Both are great combos. The cover feels durable and has grip. If you drop your phone the cover may not stay shut, so beware it does not latch closed. I use the credit card pocket for receipts or non magnwt needs.

I hate cases, but this one won me over. It's thin enough to not feel like it's adding bulk, but makes me feel a lot less nervous about drops. The led panel on the cover is shockingly cool. Not having to flip open the cover to answer a phone call fixes the biggest issue I usually have with folio cases. The materials feel very premium. Definitely worth paying a bit extra for.

Love the product. Adds the protection I need......

I was really enjoying this fancy, pricey and good looking case and now is just a regular bored case. All of sudden stopped working, I have contacted Samsung and the advice was "Buy another one due it is out warranty" . It is true that is out of warranty by 2 months but my basic complaint is that I bought Samsung product thinking of quality and durability. My cover looks like new, has no tear but it is not a durable product after a year....beware.
