There's a large batch of these units in circulation from late 2021-early 2022(now) that have a serious hardware issue. The batter within the device can NOT charge, leaving it to only work while connected via cable. This used to be a simple fix to do at home, however they recently have changed the way that they manufacture the internal board, making it impossible to fix. Returning mine for an Nano S, which as it stands does nearly the same exact thing as the Nano X right now, at $100 less.

The setup is relatively straightforward. It seems to be very secure and as long as it is used correctly, I cannot foresee someone being able to get into it without the customer essentially handing them the information to do it.

Having the bluetooth capability is definitely a gamechanger

I was kind of hesitant because of hack stories but it was legit and confirmed once registered and operating. The gold looks nice also!!

I was expecting higher quality, the right button sticks. Ledger has gotten to far ahead of them selves BTC is the only coin available to buy/sell directly from the device. Erc-20 tokens don’t Register value etc… I’m sure in the future these issues will disappear it for now it’s frustrating. However it’s the safest way to store your $so it’s worth is second to none

Assuming your like me dont be scared I lost some money allowing an exchange to be custodian to my crypto, because I was so scared to lose my crypto on a ledger... you wont these are simple easy to use, I have no idea why I waited so long

I am not a very tech savvy person and found this device to be very difficult and frustrating to setup. There is an online tutorial in the Ledger Live App that is a required download to run this device, and while the tutorial was a bit helpful, it was not entirely thorough in my opinion, and left me to figure out some things on my own. **Also** like many other other commenters remarked about, I too was unable to get the battery to charge. Out of frustration, I tweaked the charging cable once inserted into the device in hopes of getting the connections to make a better contact, and only then did it finally begin to charge. After a few days in, everything seems to be working okay.

Excellent piece of hardware. I had the nano and the storage left something to be desired so I made the jump to a larger platform. Same features just far more room for a larger variety of coin apps. If you spread it around its worth paying a little more so you don’t have to keep removing and re-adding coins. Would definitely recommend

What can I say, not your wallet not your crypto. This was very simple to set up and move my crypto currencies over to. Feel better not keeping anything on an exchange.

I love how easy it is to use, feel way more secure having it on the cold wallet then just my brokerage.
