Plot and acting was good. Interesting story. Love!

I was a little disappointed in the acting in this DVD. It should have been a made for TV special rather than a motion picture. I enjoyed the historical content because I learned about the basic characters.

Overall it is a good movie. My wife really enjoyed it. Beginning is interesting, makes you wonder why he is waiting. Middle of the movie gets rather boring. The story line picks up again toward the end.

personally i liked this movie and happy to upgrade my dvd copy to a blu ray

I was a little let down by the fact that it seemed to center around the racism of the times. I would have liked it to be more of "the butler's" life style, and the things that he did.

I wasnt impressed with this movie. I found it to be boring ,kind of dead The main actors were just mediocre,the other not so well known were far superior to the main actors

Story is pretty good. You need to pay attention to really pickup on the little hints. But! Very slow moving and can get dull at times, like they stretched the story out.

Told it's a great computer. Hoping to enjoy it for a long time. Gave it 3 stars only because I haven't used it yet. Salesperson was great.

Lots of Oscar buzz for this movie but when I watched I felt like the movie had been over hyped. It's an okay watch but not great.

The story line started out with a "stretch" and the son and story end we "stretched" as well. Taking liberties to the extreme.

Lee Daniels' The Butler is a great movie. He lets us see inside The White House from the perspective of the help!

The story line was excellent. It captured the moment of time and closely documented the events of this time.

The plot is too similar to past. movies. The movie leaves me with feeling of here we go again.

I was excited to get this movie as the reviews were so good but was simply disappointed in how slow and repetitious it was. The acting was great but way too many repeats of same scene. Very disappointed and am putting this movie in my garage sale!

This movie was disappointing to say the least. The storyline was lame and the language was awful. I would not recommend this to anyone.
