Zack Snyder isn't much of a director, but the visuals in this were great! The owls looked beautiful and the story is good enough to hold your child's attention for a couple of hours.

the story is the classic good vs evil only in the owl world. Good wins. Great owl illustrations. Kids might like it.

Big let down should have had a different ending- gave the impression that "Brian" would be back..

I ordered this online because it showed that it was the 3D, blue ray, DVD and digital copy on the cover and it was on sale. When I picked it up at the store, the package was just 3D and blue ray (no dvd and no digital copy - however the staff argued with me and told me I was wrong and that the digital code was inside). I paid for the product, opened it in front of them and then promptly returned the product as it was what the package stated (just blue ray and 3D). The staff at my store said the sku number listed is not what is pictured.

Got it on sale and my kids really enjoyed it and has a good soundtrack.

Good movie for kids. Might be a little scary for timid little ones.
