When this show first came out I was very excited but disappointed that it was only showing it on I believe WGC a Chicago station. So hard to find when you're not from that state. I've read the first 11 books and really enjoyed the story and characters. I think this show is good, but could have been better. I almost feel like it was ahead of it's time with all the shows coming out now from books onto Netflix and Amazon Prime, etc and the success of The Game of Thrones. I think if this show was being made now and brought out to a larger audience it would have done much better. This show is worth watching if your either a fan of the books or the fantasy genre in general.

It's a good Television series, but I've had 2 copys of season 1 and on both copies, there was a glitch in episode 2 on disc 1 where the episode locks up and then it sticks, or it locks up and skips to the end credits of the episode. My brother also order a copy of Legend of the Seeker Season One off of Amazon and it had the same issue. I'm not sure what to do with the gift card that I got to reorder the series after have 3 different copies of season 1 that have had nearly the same issue.

I used to watch the Legend of the Seeker every Sunday and enjoyed it. The simple story of the hero and his friends on their quest was a nice distraction from the more adult fantasies out there. Looking forward to watching with my Grandson when he transitions from cartoons to live action.

Being a Sci-Fi lover, this is just one more adventure series to add to my collection.

The first season is better than the second. Might have to read the books

Love the show, can't wait for season two to come out on DVD in September. Need to give it more than 2 episodes to get hooked. To much storyline given in first 2 episodes and characters are finding their groove but if you can make it through the first 3 episodes you will be hooked.

Enjoyed the pace of the plots and changing locations.This program was very well done. The old good vs evil theam.

I figure it this way I love the series, but I will wait for them to release it on BD. I'm not going to buy the DVD just to have them release the BD later. I would recommend it to those who just can't wait or don't have BD, because it is a good series.
