    This was a lot of fun to build. The individual branches get a bit tedious, especially for the pink flowers which are covered in "blossoms" that are actually tiny frogs repurposed from another set which is fun. My 5yo son and I built this in an afternoon. Once you make the green branches and the flowering branches it's really easy to swap them out.

    As far as LEGO creator series goes, this is a fun little set. It assembles quickly and easily and has two different season options for construction. The 'loose-gravel' pieces in and around the tree provide a cool effect IMO.

    This is a fun build, not too challenging but beware the many small pieces, very easy to spill, particularly the soil packet! Looks great in my office, offers the option of having a pine tree or cherry tree bonsai that you can change with the seasons. With my black thumb, no worries about watering or pruning, it always looks good on my desk!
