In order to build the stages and get full use of the Legos, you need to download an app on a tablet or phone. The kids still enjoy just playing and making up their own stages but we aren't thrilled about getting the app. My kids are ages 6, 12 and 16.

I bought this toy for my daughter! She absolutely loves Lego and Nintendo. She was so excited when she saw one of her favorite YouTubers do a review of the toy, I just knew i had to purchase one for her! It is her goto toy right now. She loves the interactiveness of the Mario. The screen quality is amazing. We are purchasing several of the expansion sets to help the fun last even longer!

this is a must have for all the Super Mario fans!!! This is my 4yr old son's favorite toy! A bit pricey but well worth it!
