The Mario figurine is cool, if you are the person you are getting this is into legos, they will have some fun putting together the course

Fun lego set for Nintendo Mario lovers

Mario X Lego

It arrived quickly when it finally released. I must say, this is a good starter set. The Mario figure alone was enough for me but that would defeat the purpose of the whole package. Although, I was not a fan of the boxing Lego went with. It is so angular. It couldn't have come in a regular rectangle box like the rest of the expansion sets. Just a collector gripe I guess.
