Excellent lego set for my 6 year old!! Lego should consider in having a paper-based instruction manual. The app is great, depending what else iced is used. Overall my son was all Smiles!!

It was great for the 20 min that my son took to build it.

My son is a Mario lego fanatic. These Legos don’t come with an instruction book. Instead they connect to an app on your tablet or phone and can help your little ones not make mistakes by getting a 360 view of each piece. There are also secret games to play with the tablet. Highly recommend!

My mom bought this as a gift for my son for Christmas so we havent tried it yet. But Mario and legos = awesomeness in a box. We have the Mario lego starter kit ( which is needed for Mario. He is not included in the expansion sets) so it's going to be so much fun expanding it.

You’re gonna go broke just like me. I think I have Lego like $1000 this month. And it’s all because of the LEGOxNintendo situation we have going on here. Don’t worry. It’s worth it. Also, don’t buy this unless you 1st buy the starter kit, otherwise you only get half the experience.

Overall, the Mario sets are not as “dense” of builds as other LEGO sets. Most of the structures are essentially facades but it works really well with how LEGO and Nintendo approached the dual playing styles. The fortress is one of the more sturdier sets and is a lot of fun

My kids and I built this for the Super Mario Lego set and had a good time. The build isn't too complicated and is easily in the range of what a 7 year old can do, with a tiny bit of help. The castle looks great and the play features work pretty well. The kids have a great time playing with it. NOTE: you must have the separate $60 STARTER play set in order to have the electronic Mario toy (and start and end bar codes) to use with this set's character and play features. Definitely recommended.

Love the castle, but wish it was bigger. Another piece added to the Lego Mario collection!

It's a cool game and I like how interactive it is with the app, and the physical characters.

Great gift for my nephew! This new style of the Mario collecting points keeps him engaged and he really had fun with it! It took a little while to construct it but that’s the point of Legos right?

Good set compliments Mario starter kit, would advise for any collectors to pick up in store since they don’t double box most legos when shipping.

The whole series of mario legos is awesome. This specific expansion is one of the better ones, it has more interactivity than most, and while complicated to build, is worth it for sure.

Great add-on for the Lego Mario starter kit! The added characters from the Mario games and the special actions that they activate are a lot of fun for my kids!

Bought as open box highly satisfied! I purchased this at a discount as verified and inspected. Would recommend checking open box items out to save a little extra!

My 5 year old LOVES Mario. This was a lot of fun! I love Lego but as an adult I don't think you'll get much value from this unless you have kids.

Lego Super Mario are really cool and fun. I started my collection and I can create many exciting obstacles with all the different sets.
