Better than a 20 inch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEWARE, the color might be misrepresented, I purchased 2 and they are both black with the base a dark grey instead of light gray as in the picture. ALSO, the are not borderless unless they are turn off. When they are on, you can see a thin border (3/8 inch) around it . Besides this, it is a great IPS monitor. 21.5 inches is a great size, not too small and not too big. The only issue with it is that if you plan to use it in a very lighted room or near sunshine (I have it near a window, obviously not on direct sunlight) it seems like it is not bright enough due to the glossy screen since it reflects everything. Although it looks great even if turn off since the IPS technology means a real black screen

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost did not buy a pair of these because of the glossy screen. Am very glad I decided to! The color and contrast is astonishing compared to the 20" LCDs I replaced. While I would have preferred an anti-glare coating, in this case it is absolutely worth it- the screens are as vibrant as my Samsung Galaxy. The metal stands are much more sturdy than the plastic bases of my old monitors, and are exceptionally well designed. It will almost be a shame when I mount these on my desk some day. Only disadvantaged are the glare (doesn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would), and no HDMI input. Assuming you're using an actual graphics card- be prepared to order some DVI cables or HDMI-DVI adapters.

Great Monitor, but Dead Pixels

a glass monitor

Video issues within a week

Using a known good cable and no issues using a different monitor. So, this one just sucks.
