I rarely ever write reviews, I am writing this because the reviews are what sold me. I would not buy this computer, I do not see a purpose for it in the world we live in today and I did not know they made computers this slow in the 20th century. I purchased this desktop for a student to do online high school. Thinking it was mainly just an internet connection we needed no streaming no downloading, gaming excetera. I figure this computer would be just fine as an affordable desktop. We got home and set it up, it looks nice it sounds nice the screen is nice however this computer was so slow when you click on Internet Explorer or try to open any setting, start menu etc. it takes literally 30 seconds minimum.... to load each click/each selection. Totally 100% inadequate. Do not waste your time. The two stars are for sound and appearance only. Lol

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your IdeaCentre 330-20 All-In-One system. It should not take 30 seconds for a window to open on this system. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. lenovo

Bought this for my 80 year old mother-in-law

My mother-in-law just surfs the web and reads emails. She does not download files to save on the computer. The price point was right and did not want to overspend for these minimal activities. I do have a question -- the computer purchase came with a free download of Webroot Internet Security and Antivirus software. Based on other reviews I wonder whether downloading it is necessary and will slow down performance. Please Lenovo advice.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 330-20 All-In-One system for your mother-In-Law. With regard to anti-virus software, there is a 30-day trial of McAfee Anti-Virus software on this device. Whether you choose Windows Defender or Webroot, you must uninstall McAfee first, as there can only be one anti-virus program running on the device. Here is a link for uninstalling McAfee:  https://www.thewindowsclub.com/uninstall-mcafee-internet-security-windows. Windows 10 supplies Windows Defender as an alternative. Here is a link for instructions for turning on Windows Defender:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17464/help-protect-my-device-with-windows-security. Finally, concerning Webroot slowing down a Windows 10 computer, this usually happens with an older version of Webroot being installed on the computer (or any other third party anti-virus software for that matter), download the Webroot software from the Webroot web site and use the Product Activation number on the box you were given, to activate the downloaded software. That way you are sure you get the latest version of Webroot for Windows 10 on the computer. lenovo

This system with its AMD E2-9000 processor, is an entry level, light use system. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for light work with programs like Microsoft Office and light browsing of the internet. lenovo
