Great computer and specs for the price

Lenovo isn't rated as amongst the most reliable computer manufacturers for no reason. Their products often last until you run it into the ground.

Beware of open pack Lenovo desktop computer

One was open-pack so I have save about 50-60 dollars of the regular price. Both end up with hard drive failure after about 4 months of use few weeks apart. This show poor Lenovo quality of their computers. The best buy told be that on open pack computer’s the warranty is only 1-3 months( I was not told that my any staff). After that to diagnose what is wrong they will charge $100. The store manager at Sugarland and store geeksquad staff showed poor customer service. The manage had a flat affect and kept saying a scripted statement. His only suggestion is that if I buy a open computer from bestbuy then I should also get their extended warranty. To save few dollars on the computer you will end up paying more on extended warranty if you buy their open pack computer. Stop selling low quality computers and please hire good staff to run your store. I am a elite bestbuy customer and I will not be buying any Lenovo computer from Best Buy in the future. I had a very bad experience in both money and time.

Once I began using the computer, It took very little time to get comfortable maneuvering within the system. There are still some areas where I haven't had time to explore, but I'm looking forward to continuing the learning process.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Now even-though is advertised as 4 USB 3.0 ports mine came with only 2 USB 3.0 ports. Besides that, no other complaint. So I will still recommend it.

Set up made sense as it was much like any other tower. Getting through to Lenovo when I had a question (setting up two monitors was a little different) I never got to a human. Kind of the nature of the business I guess.

I used geek squad to makes sure all my necessary files were installed before bringing it home. I was able to plug it in and get started right away.
