Great all round desktop computer

I added a Lenovo cordless mouse and keyboard and a camera, as they were included on my old all-in-one computer system that failed me. Using a Samsung Curved 27" monitor, together the display is excellent. The performance of this Lenovo computer is far superior to my old computer and anything I have ever own. Setting up this computer was easy, I had no problems at all and using my Microsoft and Google Accounts on this new system, data seemed to just populate itself just by logging in. The only feature that was missing that I had on my all-in-one computer were some good speakers. With Bluetooth build in, I purchased a nice Bluetooth Soundbar, that works just fine.. Now I have a wonderful new computer and together with all that I have added, could not be happier!

A Value-Oriented PC For Daily Use

It boots quick and is whisper quiet. It's been great for daily use(email, web browsing, Youtube) This is not a gaming PC by any measure though. The I/O is extensive. The smaller front panel opens up revealing several USB ports, mic/speaker inputs and a card reader. Great for work or school overall. We're very pleased.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
Quiet and Fast

It has sufficient memory, disk space, USB ports and processor power for my Excel work and photo editing software. Best Buy is my first choice for PC's as they have a braod selection at fair prices and a flexible return policy.

Great Computer-But Geek Squad support not so great

My experience with Geek Squad support/ customer service has not been so great. I paid for the 1 year unlimited support, THEY scheduled my first appointment for a data transfer from my old computer. When I arrived, they couldn't see me because my computer had not even arrive yet. I then scheduled an Appointment for them to come to my home for an additional $49.99. I asked for the latest appointment of the day as I had already taken a day off work for the 1st appointment that didn't happen. The tech called me at 8 am to let me know that he was on the way. I told him I was at work and he said that I was his ONLY appointment of the day and he'd like to be off by noon?? I had to send my daughter over there to meet him. He hooked up the computer/ printer, did the data transfer, but the very next day, the printer was not working with the computer. My daughter spend over 2 hours and numerous phone calls to get this corrected and it still keeps messing up periodically. We have to wait until we have lots of time on our hands to call support again and wait for a call back. It takes a VERY LONG time and lots of patience.

Engineer and needed a few workstations for 2 different clients. They were easy to install and a good value for the money. I had to upgrade them all to Windows 10 Professional but other than that, good value!

Twenty years old and still running but so slow. This Lenovo was really easy from box to set up at 10 minutes. Super fast compared to what I had of course! So far it is working fine and at this price 400+ it is an awesome buy!!! Recommended for basic family computer if you don't expect to game on it or do serious video editing. The card reader and dvd/cd burner included is another very nice feature!

Its primary use is as a professional office document production and management platform, which this computer does effortlessly. It is also excellent for photos, videos, and high intensity graphics, performing well above what its price point would imply. I highly recommend Lenovo for quality and value (this is my second machine) and would purchase this unit again without hesitation. BTW, Best Buy went above and beyond on this purchase by giving me a new unit for an open-box price when the open-box item I purchased was not in inventory.

This computer is fast and easy to set up. Seems to have plenty of USB and other plug in slots, leaving the front slots for one-time or intermittent use. Best Buy geek-guy helped get it up and running in terms of the software. I also have a Lenovo ThinkCentre mini for my work-from-home set up. I don't mind the bigger CPU size of this 510A unit, fits in my desk cabinet with ease.
