My only issues with it are the battery life is only good for a little or two hours and that it only comes with 8 gigs of ram, but it is easily upgradable if you want to in the future. The laptop itself has good build quality and plenty of i/o.

This model ships with a Integrated 60Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery installed, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 7 hours, depending on the work the device is performing and your Power Management Setting. Switch to a Hybrid Power Management setting to extend battery life between charges. Some other battery saving tips: Set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Every laptop i have owned over the years are lenovo built and all have served its purpose. Only having for a day i can say so far it has handled everything well. Runs super quiet and cool. The chassis lenovo built is amazing and i put it as hands down the best in class for low temps and low fan noise lenovo oviousely understands a thing or 2 in keeping temp down and fps up. Iracing averaging 150fps at full, apex aversging 120fps at full, hydrosim averaging 140fps at full, load times are good, i would upgrade the memory as 8gb memory is the bare minimum and also is why the pricepoint on purchasing this laptop. Im my opinion, with a couple upgrades to the memory and ssd becomes a great mid tier gamer laptop

The battery off the charger doesnt last too long maybe a hour or two and the RGB keyboards customization is slightly limited l but all in all a good purchase. Very sleek laptop.

As noted on the Lenovo tech support forums, there is a hardware issue with the touchpad. It seems that the touchpad will randomly stop working. The belief is that it is a grounding issue. I have the a similar problem where my touchpad randomly stops working. Not sure what to do and still under warranty. Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Touchpad within your Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 82JW00BFUS. First check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11, including those controlling the Human Interface Feature - Touchpad. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you get a message that there are no new driver updates available, try uninstalling/reinstalling the touchpad driver. Spent $30 to double my RAM capacity and it is so much quicker. Amazing value play for a work/gaming laptop. Keyboard is one of the best I have used. Love that it has a 10-key as well.
