As many people are, I am working from home. This machine is a power house! Teams meetings, remote desktops, and (of course) games run flawlessly. Boot up times (turning in time) are a bit longer than my surface pro7. However, this thing FLYS when putting it through its paces. Just buy it already :-)

Works great with the Oculus Quest 2. Just need the C cable and was easy to set up. He loves playing Roblox and other computer games on this. Great graphics. They keyboard is awesome. You customize colors and turn off. Great choice!

Great for Gaming

In the month I have had it I've had no problems with it and it exceeded my expectations. Stock it is very fast and will do most things but in 2020 the industrial standard for ram in a gaming computer is 16gb so I added an 8gb stick of ram to it allowing it to handle more, the process was easy and I think anyone could do it if you watch a video. Luckily you can make this upgrade without voiding the manufacturer warenty as long as you don't damage anything. The screen is great with a 120hz refresh rate and decent colors for gaming, I can really tell a quality difference between this screen and others of a similar price. Next. the cooling fans are LOUD, but thats a good thing, I haven't had my thermals over 65 degrees thanks to the efficent cooling system. It hasent been used for school yet but it will run just about anything so i'm sure it will work great. Some great added bonuses are the built in legion software and an rgb backlit keyboard. The only catagory the Legion 5 is somwhat weak in is the battery, lasting somwhere around 2 hours streaming netflix on just battery, but you don't usually buy a gaming laptop for battery life. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a laptop for causal gaming!

No issues after using for a couple of weeks. I think this would be a great upgrade if you're previously coming from a non-gaming laptop and is looking for one. This will be perfect for you too if you're a casual gamer. Perfect for the price as well. If you're going all-in and wanted to play those high spec games using high settings, go for the $1500+ gaming laptops.

It is a little light on ram, but it is upgradable which was a major deciding factor. The ram is not upgradable in many other laptops I looked at. I also like that it is not heavily loaded down with bloatware.

Chose this brand after months of R&D. When I turned it on yesterday I saw this bright white spot with a blue line on screen, right in the middle. This was so so heart breaking for me since I spent all my savings on this laptop. Now I couldn't even cover it's international warranty in Pakistan. This shouldn't have happened....!!!!

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Legion 5 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 81Y6000DUS. It is possible that resetting your computer back to original factory settings will correct the issue you are having. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.

I moved from an MSI to this one and it's sooo much better. The only thing it's missing is a better command center like MSI's, where you have more control options for the fans, and where you can monitor the temperature of the CPU and GPU. Regardless, I still highly recommend this laptop.
