up the ram to 32 gb. and it runs so good. will play anything and due anything i want. very happy i got this one. and might even keep it longer than most i had.

My gaming tower had become outdated. I don't game nearly as much as I used to, but wanted something for light and occasional gaming without sinking a ton of money into building a new gaming tower (I purchased this laptop back during the pandemic and when crypto mining was big, so graphics card prices were OUTRAGEOUSLY overinflated). This laptop fit the bill (and cost me less than $1000 when on sale). The processor is great and the display is BEAUTIFUL. The graphics card, while certainly not "top of the line", rendered game graphics beautifully and smoothly, enabling me to play most of my games easily at mid to even high graphics settings. As with any gaming system... it puts off some heat. A cooling pad is a must to help dissipate heat and avoid overheating/damaging components when playing games on for prolong periods or on high graphics settigs. Battery life while gaming was also pretty bad (but that's to be expected) and "okay" if being used for basic computing/non-gaming tasks. I think one of my favorite aspects of this laptops was the very "retro" appearance of it. The style didn't look like most of the gaming laptops today and some details of the physical design/appearance were even reminiscent of 90s laptops. This detail is what initially caught my eye in the store (and then the sale price). Couple that with the customizability of the colors of the backlit keyboard and I was just in love with the looks of it. It's an overall great gaming laptop for my occasional light to moderate gaming needs!

The speed is great, the keyboard feels good to use, and it is a great bang for your buck. Only problem I had was that it had trouble connecting to my wifi router, but it could be an issue with my router.

I bought this lap top for my son who mainly uses it for “making his beats” and gaming. He loves the graphics and how fast this lap top is.

Depending on the specs, this is a great laptop for casual gaming and content creation (Adobe Creative Cloud, for example). Great screen, IPS, 120hz refresh...overall very good. The brightness nits I believe is around 250, so not too bright...I am personally not into overly bright screens (I tend to turn them down), but I know some like bright screens at 300+ nits. If you can get this on sale, it is a great purchase...buy with confidence.

I have had this laptop for over 2 years now and haven't had any complications with it so far.

Picked up for a great price during a sale, couldn't be happier. 6 months in and running flawless.

Runs great, easy to setup. Doesn't lag at all when I game or do anything else. Good buy owned for about a month now.

Let me start with the good. It's a very fast laptop with a great keyboard good gpu and tons of io. The backlighting on the keyboard was great and software left little to want. The issues I have with the machine were the screen, camera, and speakers. The screen was ok after some tweaking but it was so fun and colors never seemed quite right. The speakers are ok but these are the type that seem to actively crush the bass frequencies leading to very harsh flat audio. Those I could deal with but the breaking point for me was the camera. The camera is garbage. I'm not sure if I had a defective unit or if it was just that bad but it always over exposed so I looked like I was glowing even when there was almost not light. It was blury to the point that my skin looked blocky and the camera had a very green tinge. If not for these three issues this would have been a knockout machine. Long story short great computer but best buy uses the worst screen for this sku of the legion and the speakers and camera are mediocre. I came back the next day and swapped for the omen 15 which how it is speced at best buy is a far superior machine.

perfect, it has the RJ45 connection that they keep not building into modern laptops, Nowadays you need to buy a Zip drive and a bunch of extra adapters for laptops to work how they should, It's not 1990. Creating solutions for self-created problems is not innovation. This laptop has it all from day 1 and is ready to go for gaming or work from home. The keyboard even lights up. It is very well built I Will buy a few more soon.

My review is of this laptop toward the end of the generation. I have a Series X and thought this would be suitable for when I want to game elsewhere. It's mechanically and functionally very good. I was easily able to add another stick of ram. I am still reluctant to recommend this laptop for 2 reasons: #1. The screen is too dim with poor colors. In Call of Duty: Warzone, it's a big disadvantage when you're fighting in a hallway, or in a dark area of the gulag. #2 The GPU is lacking. The screen is capable of displaying at 120 frames per second. This is important to me, since I am used to the Series X as my main gaming machine. When I set the recommended Nvidia settings, I average 80-90 frames per second. I have to reduce the settings to an uncomfortably low level to obtain a reliable 120 frames. I was expecting FHD but medium to high settings, but am getting FHD with low settings. To conclude - if you're playing very basic games like Ages of Empires, Two Point Hospital, or Civilization this should be an excellent choice. I would look for something better if you plan to pay first person shooters.

Super happy with this device. Capable of running any game that I have the desire to play. For a person that prefers to build their own computers I have to say that this laptop was well worth the money. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a robust laptop capable of keeping up with some modern desktops.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this laptop. I do everything from gaming to college work and this laptop handles it flawlessly. It took me running photoshop, illustrator, a movie and multiple internet tabs before I noticed any lagging. This laptop is a beast. And I absolutely love the hinge and port design. I will definitely be sticking to the Legion series in the future.

Solid laptop for gaming. Fast and responsive yet not heavy. Excellent graphics and vibrant color.

Employee is very happy with her new computer. She needed a machine with significant processing power, as she’s in a finance oversight role. But CV-19 is making laptops hard to find - which is why I went for the gaming machine. Same processing power and equal RAM to a high-end work computer. Plus an amazing video card and fancy lights for the same price!

Love this PC, very good graphics and speed, just add more memory and worth every penny
