I just received this product and ive never bought a gaming laptop so the unboxing was nice but literally sent me a laptop with no wifi adapters downloaded (i guess thats the problem im no expert but also didnt think i needed to be) so two steps into setting it up, im greeted with log into network and literally nothing is showing up so after researching it all day ive found published “solutions” to the problem and ive only managed to bypass the mandatory set up and was able to set up windows but i still cant connect to any networks nor is the setting even available. I should buy a laptop looking to better understand the thing and dive right into games but instead ive been trying to figure how to simply get the wifi to work all darn day. I really feel like this is someones fault for not making sure there were any issues before the product was delivered to me and im just sitting trying figure out how to figure out problems Best Buy employees get paid to make sure doesn’t happen. This is bull to say the least, its not like this is cheap either so the disregard to detail to a first buying customer is insulting and will definitely effect my decision making when buying from here again. I shouldnt have to get ahold of an expert two steps into setting up my device, and i can’t emphasize enough this wouldnt have happened would the device been simply booted up before being sent to me, it obviously was never checked. Also I kinda want to cuss in my review so that was an additional frustration in this whole process.

I'll start by saying I really want to love this machine and give it 5 stars but I just can't. This is my first "gaming" laptop I have used and bought after building and being a desktop PC guy for the last 10years. We'll start with the pros. Aesthetics: This laptop looks and feels premium. The white color looks great on your home desk or on the go when you're out. It doesn't give off a "gaming" laptop vibe. Performance: The version I have is the i7 4060 model. For the price point (mine was on sale when purchased) it is a great acquisition. I only game on this and do minimal CPU work loads. The 4060 keeps up just fine with no stuttering or tearing, etc. AAA games like CoD, warzone, Siege, run great and can get a constant 130-150fps on CoD with high to medium settings. More visually demanding games like "Once Human" run and operate without issue getting above 110fps consistently. Keyboard: The keyboard is nice to type on and game on. The chassis is fairly rigid with some flex and there is a decent amount of key travel until actuation. Overall a good keyboard, not the best, but not the worst. It's an okay experience and passable. Cons Battery: I understand this is a gaming laptop and needs AC power to really perform. I know that, you know that, we all know that; however I can only get about 3-4 hours of battery doing light non gaming tasks. Video content consumption, internet browsing, etc. It's almost embarrassing. Now since I use this for 95% gaming and always have it plugged in it is not a big deal but it might be to you. Your use case may be different than mine. Do not even think about gaming without the power plugged in, you'll get a whooping 40-60min until its drained..yikes One thing to note, and not necessarily a con but be aware of the heat. This thing throws heat like Pedro Martinez in the 90s. The fans do a great job of trying to cool it and it stays within the "safe" range but it is mandatory to buy some sort of cooling pad or elevated stand to give the fans room to blow out all that hot air. The fans are also fairly loud but it isn't noticeable if you have on earbuds/headset. Overall this is a great laptop, especially if its on sale and you can get it cheaper than the listed price currently. I would suggest this to others but make sure to do your own research before buying! Hope this helps!

This laptop looks beautiful. It is arguably the best looking 16" laptop out in 2024. And the materials used feel nice and premium. The screen is great. It's no OLED or mini-LED, but it has good colour coverage, high refresh rate and bright. You won't be wanting more unless you really want the benefits that other display tech provides. The performance it puts out is as expected of the specs: AAA games will need to be set to medium to game on native resolution and handles e-sports titles like nothing. With that being said, that HX processor is hurting this laptop. The thing just produces too much heat, Ryzen or a Core Ultra processor would have been a better fit for this laptop. To add to that, the processor choice is the main reason this laptop has really bad battery life. The battery is large, but that HX processor is just too power hungry for any non-plugged in work to be done for any good amount of time. The speakers are also terrible, even more so for a 16" laptop. They are weak, lacks bass, and starts to distort at around 60% volume. The keyboard is classic Legion, nice feel and comfortable to type on. But what hurts typing on this is that edge where the sides and the palm rest meets. The lack of a taper or some smoothing means that edge will dig into your forearm/wrist. But this will vary person to person. Upgradability is great. 2 soddim slots, 2 m.2 ssd slots, and a changeable WiFi card. TDLR: Laptop looks and performs great with a good upgrade path. Speakers are bad. So is the battery life, but that is because it's equipped with a powerful not too efficient processor.

So I pulled the trigger on the Legion 7i a couple of weeks back, and overall I'm pretty happy with it. This thing has some serious power under the hood. I've been playing all my usual games (Cyberpunk, Warzone, etc.) on high settings without a hitch. The 16-inch screen is gorgeous, and the 165Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth. The keyboard feels great to type on, and the RGB lighting is customizable, which is always a plus. The Glacier White finish looks sleek too - definitely stands out from the usual black gaming laptops. Now, it's not all perfect. The fans can get loud when you're pushing the system, and the battery life isn't amazing. If you're planning on gaming unplugged, don't expect more than a couple of hours. Also, the laptop itself is a bit on the heavier side, so it's not the most portable option. A couple of other things: 16GB of RAM feels a bit limiting in 2024, especially for a laptop at this price point. I might upgrade that down the line. And the webcam is just... okay. It's fine for Zoom calls, but don't expect to be streaming in high quality with it. Overall, the Legion 7i is a fantastic gaming machine. It's powerful, looks great, and the keyboard is top-notch. If you're willing to overlook the fan noise, battery life, and a few other minor quibbles, it's definitely worth considering.

After using the Lenovo Legion 7i for a while, I can confidently say it’s one of the best laptops I’ve ever owned—especially for the price I got it at. I have the model with an Intel Core i7 and an RTX 4060, and the performance has been super solid. Whether I’m running heavy programs, multitasking with a ton of tabs, or just casually gaming, it handles everything without slowing down or overheating. The display is really sharp and smooth, especially with the high refresh rate—it makes everything feel more responsive. I also like how the keyboard feels to type on; it’s comfortable, has customizable RGB lighting, and doesn’t feel cheap like some other gaming laptops. The build quality overall is really sturdy, and it doesn’t feel bulky but it is still heavy . One of the only downsides is the battery life—it’s decent, but this kind of performance definitely eats through it pretty fast if you’re not plugged in. Also, the fans can get loud under heavy load, but that’s kind of expected with a machine like this.

This laptop is AMAZING for gaming/productivity/work on a budget. The ONLY things holding it back are battery life (could use the new Intel Core Ultra Series 2 as an upgrade) and the Touchpad. Performance is quite good! Cooling is good albeit a bit loud. The keyboard is really good (typical Lenovo affair) although the lighting software kept resetting our customization (we set it to be white, and it kept going back to rainbow puke) LOVE the fact that it has a full sized SD card reader. Love that it can charge VIA USB C. Love the numpad (with a full sized 0 key!) LOVE the display at 240hz it's so smooth!

When it comes to specs it is more than enough to play anything! Beautiful RGB keyboard with many light modes to chose from! And its very fast in general! The only con is the battery life, but as long as you have brightness down and its sat on a cool area its fine. But hey, its a laptop what do you expect? And in case you do not know, when you play any game, it must be kept plugged in so that the laptop can play in its max/regular performance for most games! This goes for every laptop in case you didn’t know!

Wonderful gaming laptop. Well built and white just looks good. Keyboard lights up to give added effect. Runs smooth but on performance settings will run hot. Definitely recommend cooling pad for heat and long term care. Not sure if worth it at full price but at a discounted / open box it was a steal. BB geek squad protection is a nice insurance to have.

I would like to say that the staff at the Savannah Ga location are amazing. After the Zephyrus ordeal (posted on that product review) and the time spent finding the right pc they couldn't have been more wrong in any way. This computer by far puts the others to shame. I have amazing blazing speed, amazing display, speakers are a little quieter than expected but still plenty loud, the refresh rate is unrealistic how amazing and fast it is not to mention this machine can handle anything you throw instance whilst having WoW open dual screened on 1 screen I opened subway surf on the other then WoW and Fortnite no lag no slow down no over heating. The RGB lighting is amazing as well. Others have said that these fans are loud but I just don't hear them any louder than any other laptop I've owned in this nature to be honest. AMAZING DEVICE GREAT JOB LENOVO GREAT JOB BESTBUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lenovo Legion 7i is hands down one of the most impressive gaming laptops I’ve ever used. From the moment I fired it up, the raw performance was undeniable — this machine flies. Whether I’m running AAA games on ultra settings, streaming, or multitasking with heavy workloads, the Legion 7i handles it all without breaking a sweat. The 2.5K display is absolutely gorgeous — crisp, fast, and fluid. Games look stunning with the high refresh rate and sharp resolution, and the Legion Coldfront cooling system keeps temps in check even during marathon sessions. It’s built like a tank, but still sleek and premium. What really sets Lenovo apart, though, is their customer service. Their support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful — something you don’t always get with big brands these days. That peace of mind makes a huge difference. If you’re serious about gaming and want a machine that delivers desktop-class performance in a portable form, the Legion 7i is a beast — and Lenovo’s support makes it a smart long-term investment too. Highly recommended!

The screen on this laptop is really beautiful. Blacks are very black and font edges are smooth. The brightness is a big plus. I tried the i9 version of this laptop and prefer this one. The 4060 plays games on my 49 inch external monitor just fine. The build quality is outstanding. I like the slimness of this over the bulk on the 5i Pro. Also, the white shows less fingerprints which always have annoyed me on black laptops.

Purchased an openbox laptop since I did not want to spend a lot of money on a new one. What I liked about this laptop is the computer display. It's so bright, nice keyboard RGB lights. I also liked how I can connect this laptop to my phone then just view all my cp messages on the computer. Everything aboutr this laptop is great except for it's battery only lasting for 5hrs.

Hi, Jhajha. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! For some insight, this system features a higher power draw, HX series processor, GPU and high refresh rate display. These features can attribute to rapid battery loss due to the system, by default, supplying the best performance possible. In the Lenovo Vantage app under the Device tab, then Power, you can make adjustments to extend battery life, should that be a priority. The Lenovo Legion 7i impresses with its premium build, high-end performance, and a crisp 240Hz display, making it ideal for serious gamers and creators. Its advanced cooling system keeps temperatures in check, even during intense sessions, while the keyboard offers a comfortable, responsive experience. I have had this laptop for almost a year and it has been solid, fast, dependable and easy to us. Games such as battlefield work well on it. For a laptop the battery has been solid. Bluetooth has worked as it should without problems. Fans are not loud. The keyboard has good tactile feel and response is good. Display is bright. Plus I love the white color. Oh and charger is plugged in at the back which is prefect.

I had asus zefyrus in 2023 and now im upgrading, screen resolution is really good, I was looking for an Oled screen but this is very close and I love it. Decent weight for the size as well and still easy to travel. You just need a bigger backpack. No issues with gaming, just make sure you optimize the options. Battery is ok, wish it is better.

This thing is NICE! Everything about it screams quality, and the system came with minimal bloat. The screen is 16:10 which took some getting used to, but colors pop and it's super crisp. There's an inaccuracy in the listing though, there is no ethernet port. CPU tends to bounce in and out of thermal throttle at 97C, but with this much power in such a slim laptop, I kind of expected that. Manual fan curve in Lenovo Vantage made a huge difference, and I'm waiting on delivery of a laptop cooling pad which should solve the issue completely. Additionally, be prepared to tweak both CPU and GPU further, there is a ton of power here, but stock does not seem to be configured to take advantage of it, likely to keep thermals down.
