Everything I hoped it would be. Great graphics, smooth performance,

This laptop is a workhorse and meets all my expectations. I travel a lot for work. I needed a laptop that could handle my work and also allow me to play a game to relax. This laptop does that really well. The only criticism I would have is that the fingerprint reader is pretty much useless after the laptop (or Windows) decides your original signin is not valid.

This is a trusted, reliable and fast computer. it can handle complex tasks. Th display is very nice. The lights traveling thru the keyboard is amazing.

I recently upgraded from a 2020 ASUS Zephyrus G14 and initially went with the base model Legion 7i (4060, i7, 16GB). While decent, it didn't feel like the leap I was hoping for. When Best Buy put the higher-spec model on sale (i9 14th Gen, RTX 4070, 32GB, 1TB SSD), I jumped on it, and I'm so glad I did! The extra $300-$400 was absolutely worth it. This laptop is a beast! The performance is phenomenal. I can crank up the graphics settings in games like Halo Infinite, Hitman 3, and Ready or Not, and it handles them flawlessly. The 16-inch screen is gorgeous, and the thin bezels are a real plus. The design is sleek and modern, and I appreciate the thoughtful touches like the camera switch and customizable RGB lighting. The 32GB of RAM and the RTX 4070 make a noticeable difference in performance. This machine feels incredibly speedy and responsive. I'm confident it will stay future-proofed for at least the next four years. There are a couple of minor drawbacks. The 1TB SSD fills up quickly. I'm already at about 80% capacity, and I wish it came standard with 2TB. Also, it's a tight fit in my backpack, so be mindful of its dimensions. And a very minor pet peeve, the RTX sticker was slightly crooked, but I plan to remove it anyway. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The Legion 7i is a powerful and stylish gaming laptop that delivers an exceptional experience. If you're looking for a high-performance machine that can handle anything you throw at it, I highly recommend this laptop.

I picked up this machine today. I was not initially enamored with the machine as the temps were up when initially checked. It took me a minute to realize I need to take it off of my desktop mat. Once I did that, the laptop cooled quite a bit. One thing right off for the Best Buy folks. I am fairly certain they have the incorrect naming convention for the machine. It is NOT the Legion Pro 7i. It is the Legion 7i. If anyone who reads this disagrees, please let me know. The price for what you get in return, is exceptional. I truly enjoy having a fingerprint reader for logging into the machine. The previous 7i I owned, did not have that capability. The machine also has a built-in Windows Copilot key as well. Fingers crossed that I do not have any issues with the laptop. I will

No issues so far. Looks great in white. Set up went smoothly. Screen looks great, no issues with trackpad or keyboard.

My laptop is soooo smooth when it comes to operation, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made and also not a waste of money at sll. Get a laptop fan and you’re good to go , not giving me any problems whatsoever . Best buy is the best .

My first true gaming PC and it’s more powerful than I thought. I use Steam, Epic, GOG, Amazon, and Xbox and it runs all smoothly. It does tend to get hot when playing, so you’ll want to prop it up to allow the air to vent but other than that, it’s a very good laptop. Can crank the specs in games up to high without losing frames. I love it.

i9+4070 is suitable for most of the games. You will have excellent experience with this laptop. Highly recommend.

This computer offers exceptional performance for various tasks. However, it's been noted that the device tends to generate significant heat during operation. The Lenovo Legion 7i 16 is a powerhouse for gaming. I have used it standalone as well as with a 4k gaming monitor and it has not disappointed. My only complaint is the battery life. Even with power saver options the laptop only last 1 1/2 to 2 hours and that’s just standard use not gaming.

Like the color, hard to find something that is white, super understated. Looking at white makes you think a lot faster. Screen has corner instead of being rounded, like. Numpad is a huge plus for anyone that deals with numbers. Downside: The fingerprint scanner/power button in the middle of the screen stays lit, super annoying. Got around it by putting blackening tapes. Speakers aren't the best, gets by. Goes silent when you put it into custom fan and connected to power.

I love the keyboard, build quality, and screen. Performance is above average too.

It's a beautiful, powerful, and comfortable laptop. I love it in every way. I haven't had a single problem with it. I use it for work and gaming while I'm at home, traveling, or anywhere.

I'm writing this after having the laptop for 7 months. When it works, it's pretty great, albeit hot. I use the laptop a LOT, but not for anything particularly strenuous. I make gifs in Photoshop, play the Sims 4, and spend a lot of time online. In the 7 months that I've had this laptop, I've had to send it in to Lenovo twice. The first time, without any physical damage whatsoever, a section of the screen suddenly became pixelated and eventually spread over a period of minutes and blacked out the entire display. The second time, the 'A' key started sticking and eventually came off. Instead of sending one replacement key, I had to send it in so they could replace the entire keyboard and palm rest. Upon booting it up after getting it back from repair, my entire operating system was broken and the computer was stuck in a BSOD boot loop. Now I have to wait another 3-5 days for them to send a recovery USB drive and I've lost all of my files. (Yes, I have the really important stuff backed up, but still.) For what I paid for this, I expected it to last me years, but all it's done is cause headache after headache, far more frustration than it's worth, and literal hours spent on the phone with incompetent tech support who keep trying to sell me their extended warranty even though I purchased one through Best Buy. I'm sure there are people who have nothing but good things to say about their Legion 7s, but I'm not one of them.

It is my first gaming laptop. I opted for a laptop over a desktop pc because sometimes I use it to work as a DJ or as teacher and need to take it with me but I wanted one that could game easily and this one fits the bill. It doesn't hurt that is quite beautiful and I know I could easily sell in the future if I need to. Overall great experience except that I had trouble redeeming my game pass free months that I thought come with any Legion laptop, apparently is not the case.
