I love it! I'm an Interior Decorator and need to create renderings. This laptop can handle that. It's attractive for client meetings and the keys feel so nice while typing. Highly recommend if you're in the design world.

bought this on an unbelievable sale, and wow does it work better than its original price point. definitely recommend a cooling pad or whatever with fans just to help with cooling and prolonging the life of this beast of a laptop.

Been working with it for 2 weeks so far and it's working great! The screen is bright and buttery smooth, the performance has been great, and I expect it'll last quite some time. One thing I will say, it does get pretty loud under load, which is something I've come to expect with gaming laptops, but if that's something you'd worry about then just keep that in mind.

Personally I’m loving this laptop. It runs the games I play very well and it’s been great for the work I use it for as well. The battery life isn’t great, which I hear is normal for gaming laptops, and there was this weird glitchy thing that happened for a few days where it kept sounding crunchy and robotic intermittently but an update fixed it quickly. Overall I’m happy, it’s a gorgeous laptop and it does what I need it to do, but I’m not very tech savvy so if you have big fancy plans for your new laptop I’d read more reviews.

Excellent upgrade with all modern features. Battery life time is average but worth buying it for its speed and features

This is hands down the best PC I have owned. I use it primarily for gaming, and have not found a game yet that it can't run on ultra. Highly recommend this PC. It's very slim and light which makes it even better when you consider it's hardware.

This has been a great laptop, it can run almost any game I’ve ran on it with high graphics and smooth fps on performance mode. The only complaint is battery life but changing graphics helps a lot.

This laptop is hands down the best you can buy for your dollar! I definitely got a ridiculous deal on this one by purchasing this as an open-box excellent for $999! It as pretty much brand new. I've had it now about 3 months. Would I pay $1899? No. Probably still the best bang for your buck under $1500. I tried out 5 other laptops before this one. This Legion was the obvious choice. It's built well. The screen is phenomenal. It will handle just about every game out there.
Awesome laptop - much better build quality than 5i

I had originally purchased the 5i with similar configuration although it had Intel Core Ultra 9 processor. I got an awesome deal on this for a little over what I paid for the 5i and I am super happy with the 7i so far. I installed a second SSD and this machine is awesome. I am not a gamer so probably overkill for me. I do some light video editing and this works well for that. The 7i generally has a much better build quality and feel compared to the 7i. The OLED screen on the 7i is also super nice. I highly recommend this laptop especially when it comes on sale.

Got this computer as an early Christmas gift for myself. I love to play the sims and my older computer wasn’t doing the job and kept crashing. This one however, runs so smoothly and doesn’t crash at all (hopefully it never will lol). The battery life isn’t the best but that’s okay with me.

Really good computer if you don’t have the space or want to have the process of owning a desktop. This easily has enough power to run any game or any program you want. The capabilities of this computer are endless as well as being thin and it doesn’t get as hot as I would have thought.

The solution to all my technology issues!! Love the fast speeds and display options. Runs REVIT like a charm.

My wife loves the size, weight, performance for work tasks, crisp display, and especially the keyboard feel plus she can make the keys purple. One issue i did have with the laptop right out of the box was with the mediatek wifi adapter. Everytime i restarted the laptop i would have to reconnect to the wifi no matter which connection 2.4/5/6 ghz band. I even wiped the system and reinstalled windows with same results. Finally after finding newer drivers for mediatek via the Asus rog forums ive had no issues like described. Minus the wifi driver issue its been a great laptop so far and a happy wife is a happy life.

Upgrade from 5 year old MSI Leopard

I really liked my MSI but the build quality as far as the case and hinges was not good, keys started falling off at 4 years also. So I needed a new laptop and starting looking and settled on the Legion brand because of what i read about the build quality and durability. I have only had it a few weeks but the things I like so far about it:
It does seem very durable, the case feels like it will last, its light weight, but came loaded with all the good things like wifi7, 32 gb ram, Ultra 7 processor, awesome OLED screen, and it is super easy to upgrade, I watched a simple youtube video and was able to take my old SSD drive from the MSI and put it in slot 2 in the Legion, only took a few minutes, was super easy for me a 55 year old, and it worked no problem right away. I love the keyboard, I changed the color to a cool blue and it looks great. I do alot of research on the internet for my job and have 30+ browsers open at once and it handles them like a champ.
The white color really is nice in person, I was skeptical at first but I really like it. I found it in Best buy outlet and got it for less than $1400 and it went even a little cheaper and Best Buy was super easy to deal with and they refunded the difference. i would definitely buy again and definitely get from Best Buy, overall experience was 5 Stars!

I switched to this laptop from the one right below it, due to the fan making so much noise on the last one. You can still hear the fan, but not close to the version right before this one. Very bright, which is important to me, quick and user friendly.

This is my first Lenovo. I have no complaints with the laptop. The setup and everything associated with it went smoothly. I just wish it included touch screen capabilities. If you can live without touchscreen, this computer is great!
Thank you for choosing Lenovo and for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying the features and value of the Lenovo Legion 7i 16”.
To address your concern on battery life, the Legion 7i 16” includes Legion Space, which allows users to control the RGB keyboard brightness and profiles to enhance battery life. To access these settings, start by opening the Legion Space app, then scroll down to the bottom of the homepage where you will find the Lighting Options widget. If you would like to adjust the thermal profiles, those settings can be found towards the top of the same homepage, located just below the CPU and GPU performance gauges. You can also quickly toggle profiles by using the Fn + Q keyboard shortcut.
Please feel free to reach out to us through the Q & A section of the product page if you should have any questions.

Lenovo's Legion series of laptops can be very confusing for those who aren't familiar with the naming convention. You have 5, 5i, 5i Pro, 5 Pro, 7i, 7i Pro, etc. Now they're adding "a" models with AMD processors...
Anyway, the point is that the 7i and the 7i Pro are very different models despite both being "7" series.
The 7i only comes in white and has an all-metal build. This was originally called a "slim" model because it's a sleeker build than the Pro models. At the end of the day, all you need to know is that the white 7i is the least "gamer" looking of the Legion models and comes with 5060 or 5070 options.
I purchased the 5070 model from Lenovo on sale for about $600 under MSRP. This was a great price for what I got, but then Best Buy dropped their 5060 model to $600 under MSRP and it was a steal.
The build of the two machines is the same - you can pay more for a higher refresh display by buying the 5070 model from Best Buy. Running games on the 5070 and 5060 feels very similar, the only thing I notice is the 5060 model seems to run its fans sooner than the 5070 model. Could just be my unit.
Overall, this is my favorite laptop out of all of the major brands. I've tried many Asus, Alienware, Razer, Gigabyte, and other models.
