Lenovo says it's a software issue and Microsoft says it is a bad graphics card. Lenovo trouble ticket escalated and unresolved.

Crazy Good All Around Thin Laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When first liberating the Lenovo - Legion Slim 7 AMD Advantage Edition 16" WQXGA Gaming Laptop from the foam in the box you first notice the quality feel of the body and the weight of it….and how thin it is. What’s funny (at least for me) about laptops is if they are too light they feel cheap and if they are too heavy well…they are too heavy….this one weighs just over 4.5 lbs so its on the heavy side but for its size etc I’d say its just right especially given the metal lower portion and surround on the edges. Its got a gorgeous 16 inch IPS screen that is super bright with an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX Processor with great AMD Radeon Graphics. It has 1TB SSD storage which is more than enough for most and given the SSD it is whisper quiet. The Lithium-ion Polymer Battery gives up to 12 hrs of battery life (YMMV) depending on what you are doing. Hardcore gaming, not so long, internet browsing and normal office functions such as Excel, word etc will give you the max battery life. The keyboard is responsive and the backlight illuminates the keys nicely and the Harman Speakers sound pretty good, but not amazingly good. Any game I threw at it, the Lenovo - Legion Slim 7 AMD Advantage Edition ate up and anything less than processor heavy games was a breeze for this great all around laptop. It did run hot at times but not exceedingly so. For a great everyday thin (did I say thin?) high performing laptop with a SSD then look no further.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this laptop suits most of my needs for school, however if I need to use it for over 5 hours just doing research or writing a paper im likely to need the charger, if you only have 2 classes back to back your likely not to need the charger. The charger included with this laptop is bulky, weighing nearly 2lbs since this is of course more of a slim gaming laptop. The laptop itself runs great and I havent had any problems with crashes or overheating (my last laptop was suffering from these problems). I think the worst part about getting the slim version is the lack of upgradability for ram since one stick is welded to the motherboard. Overall its a great laptop and even better if you are able to get it while its on sale, I bought mine open box for around 1550 with taxes

This configuration ships with a Integrated 71Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 8 hours, depending on the work the device is performing and your Power Management Settings. To maximize battery life, switch Power Management Settings to a Hybrid Power Setting within the Legion Vantage Dashboard installed on this Legion Slim 7 16 AMD model. This high performance configuration requires a dedicated, 230W slim tip, device side (3-pin, USA compatible, wall side plug) AC adapter/charger, 100-240V, 50-60Hz, which is included with the Legion Slim 7 16 AMD. This 230W AC adapter/charger weighs approximately 601 grams or 1.325 lbs. Some additional tips for extending battery life between charges: Set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop.
