It is powerful without being gaudy like some other gaming style laptops. I use this on the go and in my work environment and appreciate having so much power to push through my programs (which includes the full suite of Microsoft Office). Whatever software/cooling problems reported when this laptop first came out, the ones reporting uncontrollable revving up of the fans, my laptop has exhibited none of those problems. Not sure if others are still having this problem, but it hasn't even occurred on mine, even after updating all the software from Lenovo and the operating system from Microsoft. The screen is also gorgeous and nice and bright. All around I am very happy with the laptop. I am no expert when it comes to such things, but this one has proven by its performance to be winner in my book.

Great graphics and power balanced perfectly with battery duration. Can handle most games and tasks but long I’m battery life. I’ve had gamer notebooks before that have a sweat dream about 20 minutes of battery and then looking for a plug. This is a great balance

I bought this laptop almost 3 years ago to expect it to last a lot longer. My screen flickers and the computer constantly reboots all the time. Its crazy because i had no issues until after the warranty expiration. I will NEVER buy a Lenovo laptop again. I have owned laptops before and this one had the shortest lifespan imaginable. The price I had paid at the time shows that this was not worth it. Now I am trying to seek repairs just to recover my data before this laptop diss on me completely. Save yourself the money and invest in anything other than a Lenovo laptop. There are countless horror stories about their warranty program as well. I usually don’t write reviews like rhis, but the sheer amount of disappointment from my S7 has really impact me. I am a content creator and didnt even use this laptop for gaming! Now I can’t even browse the web for 15 seconds before it reboots.

Battery life is not so great due to 71Wh battery. And only one RAM slot is upgradable. Apart of these this is a great gaming laptop!
