Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Legion Slim 7's performance, battery life, build quality, screen brightness, and portability, with many praising its lightweight design and excellent display. However, customers are negative about the laptop's tendency to overheat and generate noticeable fan noise, particularly under heavy load. Some users also expressed disappointment with the sound quality of the speakers and limited storage options. Overall, the positive aspects of performance and portability seem to outweigh the negative feedback regarding heat, noise, and audio for many users.

Solid purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid machine, it does everything its supposed. Beware the CPU does run a little hot (very actually) and mind you that AMD makes it difficult to undervolt etc unlike intel. Otherwise a good purchase.

Excellent for Gaming, Video Editing and More
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent purchase. Extremely powerful laptop, beautiful display, great for gaming, video editing and more. Not exactly a bargain and at this price point I would expect 32gb memory but easy enough to upgrade. Battery life is not impressive and the power bank is a brick, but comes with the territory.

Fast processor
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a fast processor with at least 32gb of ram. The sales person said that 16gb was more than enough for what I’d use it for (zoom and online presentations). He was right! Works wonderfully well!

Don’t buy lenovo products
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product from lenovo website and picked it up from best buy. The product is faulty and freezes all the time which you end up either restarting it or it will restart itself automatically. I use this laptop for work and Lenovo service would not send someone to fix this issue. They wouldn’t even return or replace the item for me. The service is so bad that they drop the call on you and don’t care about customer satisfaction. Please don’t waste your money on Lenovo. Dell is the best.

NO RGB Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No RGB Keyboard on this model. If you want that then you have to buy elsewhere. Look for the one that has the RX 6850M XT. Do love this laptop though even though it's new to me.

Unexpected find.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is probably one of the best laptops I have used and for the price I got it for, it is worth every penny. Since it's a gaming laptop don't expect great battery life but hey it does get the job done when you do play. :)

Incredible performance for price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a very solid laptop that I saved a ton of money on through promotions. It is heavy, but it’s packaged into a very thin frame for the amount of power it holds. The charging adapter is HUGE! So keep a big bag.

Overheats during game and then crashes
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop overheats so much during games that the CPU gets past 95 degrees! Basically during the game the laptop gets so hut even with the fan at the maximum speed that it crashes. I do not recommend this laptop to anyone who wants to do heavy gaming. The fans inside this laptop do not do a good job cooling the laptop. I recommend at least Alienware.

Fast laptop with good battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer but only four stars because this model is not RGB backlit so there are no cool backlit keys but other than that it’s a great computer and super fast.

All AMD has come a long way
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome laptop and Specs. The screen is beautiful and bright. I returned my unit because mine had a bit too much backlight bleed for my taste. Only drawback is the 8GB of soldered-on Ram. There are better options out there at the 2K Range. Also, the Slim 7i is selling for $1499-$1699.

Synergy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop, felt like the computer overall worked together more seamlessly than some. The amd CPU and GPU meshed really well and though slightly less powerful managed like laptops with more power

Fans are too loud; otherwise, EXCELLENT
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't mind fan noise, this Lenovo Legion 7 Slim is the perfect "thin" gaming laptop with a 15-16" screen. But if you do, then be warned that when these fans spin up, they are very loud. For me, I'm trying to decide if this is a deal breaker such that I would need to return this unit. Aside from that, the screen is absolutely gorgeous, the build quality is excellent, the keyboard is super comfortable with excellent feedback and key travel, the audio is quite good (though not Macbook Pro quality), and the processing performance is great as well. I would say the touchpad is ok but not great. It's quite smooth but requires more pressure than I would like to activate a click. And the click is the kind I don't like - kind of a high sharp "click" versus other touchpads I've come across that have a low frequency "thump". These are minor details, of course. If you like to game, need a laptop but don't want a thick 5 or 6+lb behemoth, then this is a very good option. You can also get the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 or G15, which is probably what this competes against, and I would pick this one in a heartbeat because of the higher quality build and more elegant/professional styling. However, if you just want to do light gaming, just get a thin and light laptop with a Ryzen 6800U or 6850U which has the new RDNA2 integrated GPU and can do 1080p gaming at low to medium settings quite well, especially for older titles.
