Great Gaming Rig, But Network Card is Horrible.

So firstly, this PC is amazing. It plays every game I could ever want it to pretty much. I adore it, had it for little over half a year. But there is one pretty bad issue I've ran into. The network card the PC comes with, a mini PCIe network adapter on the lower right of the MB. I don't know if the "antenna" which is the block on the back of the PC, is trash or the card itself is not good. I have the best AT&T fiber they provide in my area. My speeds with the mini network card was like 2 Mbps if I was lucky, that's insanely slow even for a WiFi Fiber connection. I suggest if you plan to use this PC on WiFi. Go on Amazon and buy a good PCIe network adapter, there is a slot for one below the GPU. I suggest a TP-Link, not too expensive and an amazing network card. My speeds are what they should be now. WARNING. Remove the mini network card or the PC will boot loop. After removing the mini card it shipped with, install your PCIe network card, wait a little bit for the PC to install it and BAM. You are golden, pony boy. Other than that. I love this PC.

    Buyer Beware

I purchased open box certified, expecting all the parts but it lacked the whole HDD and 8gb of ram. Best Buy support was not helpful and I had to return the PC for a full refund. The PC has great specs for the price and has great lighting, but lacks a strong power supply. I ended up purchasing the upgraded i7-10700k version with a 650w for the same price and have had 0 issues since. I would not recommend this PC unless you plan on buying a new power supply.

Everything is great love the PC, but the only problem I have are the RGB fans I can customize it on the BIO settings but after going back into windows the fans shut off after saving it I manually have to take off the back plate of the pc and move the RGB wire onto another slot. I also have a question can you upgrade the ram megahertz speed and if you can what is the maximum you can upgrade it also what type of motherboard is this pc?

Imma be honest didn't think it would be this good but I guess I was the wrong PC ran perfectly out of the box and I've been using it for months now and I can confidently say if you are not trying to build your own pc for any reason this would be a great alternative.

Bought brand new. Plugged it in and it wont power on. Spent 1200 on something that wont do the most basicfunction of a computer. Pretty disappointed. Tried calling Lenovo Help to see if they could figure out what was wrong, only to be told there are no operators working. Will be trying to exchange for a new one to see if it works. Will update when I get new one.

Straight out of the box - NO POWER!!! Happy Holidays! Recipient of gift had to drive 20 miles to nearest BB. The computers are out of stock. And they upsold a 12 year old to a more expensive power supply, made him leave the computer overnight, has to go back today to see if it worked. And Best Buy assist manager said he was doing a 12 year old! a favor by not charging full price for the fix!!!!!!! Brand New - just delivered yesterday and he's doing my nephew a favor?! Lenovo's quality control is obviously the absolute pits! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this or any Lenovo PC.

I ordered this PC. Got it home, plugged it in... wouldn’t turn on. I made sure everything was seated, and called Lenovo support who weren’t able to help. I called Best Buy, and it took 3 HOURS to get someone to agree to send me a replacement PC which won’t arrive for 5 more days. The PC was clearly used as well, although I bought it as new, as can be seen by looking at the power button for about 2 seconds. Hopefully the next one works when it shows up. Whether it does or doesn’t, Best Buy will never get another dollar from me.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the initial activation of your Lenovo Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop Computer. Pressing the power button at the top of the computer case is all you need to do to boot your computer. If this does not work, unplug the computer and wait 15-minutes. Now plug the computer back in. As you now press the power button, at the same time, repeatedly tap the F2 key until you see the Lenovo One Key Recovery Screen. Here you can select Reset The Computer back to original factory settings to begin the setup process again. If the issue continues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for additional help at: 866-426-0911. Lenovo
