Wifi adapter disappears after waking from sleep

The wifi stops working every time the computer goes to sleep, and it cannot be restored without rebooting the system. The wifi adapter disappears from the list of connected devices. As far as the system is concerned, it doesn't have a wifi card. I searched for hours looking for solutions, but there apparently are none. I tried everything suggested, like making sure the wfii adapter is not set to power-saving mode. Obviously I checked all drivers 10 times because that's the one thing they do say to do. I would rather fix a problem myself than return a computer that is exactly what I wanted, but in the end I decided it had to be returned. I'm not a technical wizard, but I have assembled computers and I know how to check all the bases, and if I can't get it to work after 6 hours of tinkering, then no average user can be expected to. Other minor issues: The light on the front pulses brightly when it sleeps, and cannot be turned off or altered in any way. I ended up taping a piece of paper over it so I could sleep. Lenovo's response is that this is intentional. Well, unless forcing people to physically cover the light is intentional, you should revisit that. (Taping a piece of paper over a light is something I can do, and I would not have returned a computer over it, but I also shouldn't have to. I don't care how a computer looks on the outside, but suppose I'm a person that does?) The keyboard that comes with it is extremely cheap. It's like a chiclet keyboard but with high keys, almost as high as a mechanical. The keys were sticky and difficult to use, and had I kept the computer I would have replaced it. This was a very negative review, but, I didn't have the opportunity to have positive experiences with it. I spent all of the time I had it trying to get it to work before giving up.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop Computer, model number 90RB001LUS. If the internal fans on your Legion Tower 5 are running properly, but the system is overheating, first, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11, this would include the games you have installed. Additionally, there is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. Here is a link to instructions for uninstalling McAfee from a Windows computer:  https://service.mcafee.com/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If there is no incompatible software installed but the issues persist, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. Bought this in November, and my son was so happy playing with his new gaming PC. However, it crashed at the end of January and we have been having long and exhaustive conversations with Lenovo premium care since then, and we couldn't get any traction. With all the upgrades, it cost up to 1800$ and didn't even last more than 3 months. And customer care is absolutely the worst. Would not recommend.

I would stay away from this PC. It's a decent computer 90% of the time. However, I have never had a computer that has crashed as much as this one. First time I have ever bought a pre-built and I think this will be the last time. Next time I will spend the extra money and build it myself as I usually do I think. If you have to go with a pre-built I would go with something else. This computer crashes while gaming frequently and seemingly without any real cause.

Powerful, quiet, and no good. I got this to replace a laptop that went bad, that I also purchased from BestBuy. Good at first except it to a restart on power on because if not the wireless card wouldn’t work. Ok that’s annoying, but about 9 months later it doesn’t boot, except to the BIOS. I will contact BestBuy today if that goes well I will revisit my review, if not I will no longer be a customer of theirs. More to follow.

If i could rate this 0 stars trust me i really would. if you wanna use this pc to play games like cod and apex or just shooters in general look elsewhere. The problems this pc has are so frustrating it makes me want to grab the whole thing and throw it out my balcony. Wifi is always shutting off and on even with ethernet connected and the worst part is whenever i load into a game it gives me a "bluetooth disconnected" and than i have to wait whenever it feels like wanting to turn back on and when it does i have to go back to the home screen and turn on the mic and sound in the settings. 3mins later it does the samething it disconnected bluetooth and again i have to wait or troubleshoot it which still doesnt do jack. I regret spending my hard earned money on this. So i would love to help anyone else with their thought process on a new pc. Please just go with something else.
