LENOVO TOOK XMS OUT OF THE BIOS So, you can't expand the memory unless you buy it from them at near double the price of all other RAM. Two stars for this pure profiteering move on Lenovo's part. Bad for the Best Buy brand an if they don't do an update to return XMS I'm retuning it on 1/15. Beyond frustrated and disgusted - just stupid

You can manually update your system BIOS files. First, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then you can update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Legion Ultimate Support for additional help at: 888-278-9707. Lenovo

Do not buy this PC. Within a month of buying its already dead, got sent to lenovo depot and sent back broken still. Avoid this PC and all Lenovo products, absolutely garbage support, all outsourced, and won't send a new product after selling me a bad one. I know what the problem is with it, but they refuse to fix the situation. 9 tickets, 3 on site tech requests I've heard nothing back on. Go with a better brand.

Not even 1 year into having this PC and it broke...something with usb bios issue. Of course the part is private so I can't fix it myself. I have to send it back to get repaired which the customer service guy said it's a 50/50 chance it would even work! It's heavy and I really don't want to be carrying it up and down stairs and shipping it...NOT HAPPY.

Well, guess I'm one of the unlucky ones... I got mine yesterday and it is faulty. Such a shame, but luckily I'll be able to return it. Also, one huge issue I have with this is there is no HDMI port or even DP port... Why wouldn't a PC with a 3060 have either? In Best Buy's specs, they list 1 HDMI port. How else are they wanting you to hookup a monitor? USB-c? That doesn't seem like a great way.

Today is one week after my warranty expired. It died. This is the second time it has died in a year. Both times it died when restarting after updating. No signal to monitor and the two beeps when powering up. First time the motherboard and another component was replaced. No idea what’s wrong this time. Not impressed

Would give it zero stars if possible picked it up and ur didn’t even turn on, it came with no HDMI cable and when i tried to contact customer support from the company itself it tried to make me do a self scan of my pc, which isn’t possible because it couldn’t even turn on. The mouse and keyboard that came with it seemed 5 dollars max and the pc itself looked ugly. DO NOT BUY

    Important: CPU Issue plus fix

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This is probably my first review that I have left for any product I have ever bought. I am just gonna cut to the chase about the most important aspect of this PC. CPU Cooling issues - This computer does not come equipped with a good CPU cooler. You will not notice any issues until you monitor the temp and during gaming and semi heavy loads it will run north of 85+ degrees Celsius even in a cool environment. AMD CPU problem - So, Lenovo decided to cut corners and use an Intel Motherboard for its AMD chip. Downside is, when I went to upgrade the CPU cooler to a water cooled one, nothing would fit on the OEM CPU bracket. Lenovo has also glued the CPU cooling bracket to the MB so you cant easily remove it. Here is the solution if you buy or bought this PC! I did hours of research online and found out that Noctua makes a bracket system for its heat sync coolers that will fit with this MB. However, standard screws for motherboards and all CPU coolers is a M3 size screw. The stock mount for this motherboard uses a M2.5x14 or M2.5x16mm screw. Here was what worked for me: Noctua mouting system, Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooling system, M2.5 screw set from Amazon, and you have to use the Intel brackets that come with Noctua. The other thing is that the Noctua NHD15 fans are big and both of them do not fit at the same time. I have ordered a 120mm fan to fit it above RAM. Overall, this works well! While the processor is on thermal mode and overclocked, I am getting 60-64 degrees on the CPU with just one fan on the heat sync and I am sure the temps will be lower once I add the second fan. almost a 25 degree difference. Overall, this change will cost you about 130-140 dollars and I recommend upgrading the RAM. The samsung Ram that comes with the computer heavily under performs. Decent PC overall. If I could go back I would probably build my own from scratch but this PC is no slouch. Ran benchmark tests and it was a UFO in all categories. Other pros: great video card, quiet fans, decent processor. Other cons: Small case, limited space, and Lenovo 3060 which has a lower resell value compared to a MSI and other brands.

Worked fine until it gave a fan error about 11 months after purchase. A few startups after that, and it directly wouldn't boot (B1 Library Initialize Error). The motherboard/BIOS had a defect so I had to send it in and they fixed it because it was under warranty (supposedly they replaced it). Per the techs it was a common/known error. 2 years later: SAME exact error (fan error and then a few startups later) and since the warranty is expired, they won't fix it unless I pay for the repair. I cannibalized the salvageable parts, threw the rest in the trash and have built a new PC. No more prefabs and no Lenovo brand EVER. Worst purchase/mistake I could make.
