Very good for gaming for the cheap price

Only problem is battery life, but if you are charging and playing, it does not matter. Likewise, many complain about noise, but you can click Fn and Q to change modes to quiet mode and still have a good gaming experience.

If you are thinking to use it for playing. The battery is not good enough to be unplugged, as the time of playing will be lesser than an hour.

First time pc gamer

Solid Entry Level Laptop

The only issue i really have is battery life, if I dont have it plugged in it lasts about an hour sadly.

Battery life isn’t the best even when not running games and only doing other things like schoolwork(lasts barely an hr). Keep in mind this is my first gaming laptop/windows device in general so I don’t have much to compare it to.

Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and can adjust power regulation leading to improved battery life. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.
Secondly, the LOQ Gaming Laptop allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, select the "Device Settings" tab from the left-hand side of the display, scroll down to "Power modes" and select the best mode based on your needs. We suggest using Quiet mode which will reduce the power consumption of your LOQ Gaming Laptop leading to better battery life. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.
