Pretty good for the price

Despite being lost in the mail on the first go, Best Buy support was quick to get a replacement ordered. The specs were nice, but upgraded to 32 gb asap for future proofing. A major concern is the weak battery life, especially when gaming.

The best entry level gaming PC around

Regarding your issue with battery life – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in gaming laptops that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even greater power conservation.

Mid Tier Performance at a Budget Tier Price

The storage and ram on this model is easy to upgrade. It has been able to play all the AAA titles I have thrown at it very well. The Black Friday sale price made it a no brainer to pick up.

She’s able to get on it, but she’s also able to do her art as well as her schoolwork so it’s very multifunctional but most of all the performance is amazing. I would say the only thing I don’t like about it is the battery life isn’t the greatest as it doesn’t stay charged for very long, but it’s not the biggest problem in the world. She usually uses it at her desk so it’s usually plugged in anyway. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone of any age as I even enjoy using it whenever I have done a few things on it to try it out.

Amazing Laptop!

The only problem i have is the battery that it only lasts 2 hours from using chrome, other than that, its an amazing laptop.
