Laptop is great and actually runs games pretty good. Microsoft flight sim runs at medium to high settings at 50 fps. The laptop itself is built great. If i had one gripe is probably that it only has 1 nvme slot. So if you need more storage the main drive has to be replaced but its simple to do. Ram is also easily upgraded.

Bought this for light/moderate gaming. I bought this Ryzen 7840HS with RTX4050 at the same time as the Intel i5 13420H with RTX3050 6b version of this same laptop. I can say that the Ryzen one is a bit faster and more responsive. its not a huge difference in normal use but loading up games etc is a little bit faster. the 4050 vs 3050 i have seen do about 10-20fps more in the games played on them. I will upgrade the RAM on this later down the line to get this running better but this is an amazing laptop that i can see running well for years. The only downsides are that the screen could be brighter but for an entry level laptop, this is acceptable. There was one issue I encountered when i was setting it up intially. I was unable to download/install anything on the Microsoft store. It would just keep erroring out. nothing i did helped resolve the matter. I had to unfortunately restore/repair Windows. Once that was done, the laptop worked like a charm. But it was a shame to see a brand new laptop give me problems. The same laptop with the i5 13420h that i purchased as an open box did not have this issue.

Got this on sale for $699, and i gotta say I’m very impressed. The modern GPU in the 4050 is great for 1080p gaming, and the 7th gen ryzen cpu can absolutely hold its own. Im also surprizsed it included a 144hz IPS screen, and a USB c port with charging capability. If i had any complaints, it would be the screen is a bit dim, the battery goes quick while gaming, and the RAM and SSD were lacking in speed and size. But, a quick upgrade to 32TB of RAM (Crucial 16x2GB DDR5 5600k) for $90, and 1TB SSD (Western Digital Black SN80X, GEN4 PCIe, M.2, 7300 MB/s) for $85 from the jungle company, and I am set. All in all, i spent $875 on a laptop with a 4000 series GPU, a Ryzen 7 series CPU, 32 GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and a 144hz FHD screen. Im happy.

Laptop is a little heavy and battery goes quick other than that works great so far. Put in Crucial 32MB of 5600hz RAM so its pretty fast now. Battery also charges fast so that helps

My review star rating has everything to do with my experience using the laptop. I’ll provide cons below that in no way, shape or form will change my star rating. First of all, it’s light weight, sleek, and looks great. From key tap to mouse scroll, it’s responsive. I’ve utilized a fair share of laptops and MacBooks and this by far has some of the most comfortable typing layout from palm rest to soft keys. Second, performance for the buck is nice. Yes, 8gb of ram. Yes, 6gb of graphical memory. But remember, you’re not dropping $1200 on a gaming laptop. Another stick of 8gb ddr4 laptop memory is cheap. A kit of 32 gb laptop memory is also cheap. A laptop that includes that ram spec costs north of $300-$400 more. Of course the GPU is not upgradable, but the triple A titles my son has thrown at it have handled exceptionally well. My only complaints are windows 11 and the preinstalled bloatware, and the fact that the GPU is only 6gb. I knew about the 6 gb going into it, therefore I’m not docking a star. What I didn’t know was how terrible windows 11 was. Immediately after setting the laptop up and allowing my son to play a few games for about 2 days, I wiped the storage drive clean and installed windows 10 64 pro. Performance is night and day both in general use and video game performance. Of course more RAM may aid in win 11 performance, but the overall experience of windows 10 is similar to that of windows 7 vs windows vista. Vista flat out sucked! Overall, both my son and I are happy with this purchase. Merry Christmas to him!

I was worried when purchasing a gaming laptop because of the loudness and how hot they get. However, when i received this laptop i was surprised about how it performed for the price. This computer fans were much quieter then i expected. They only got a little loud when on performance mode, but thats to be expected. Overall, this is one of the quietest, coolest, and well performed laptops i have seen for the price.

I put 32gb of ram in it. I put an extra TB of memory in it. I'm playing Baldur's Gate 3, Cities Skylines 2, really everything I've thrown at it it has played really well. If there's a downside I guess the screen could be better. If you could find the LOQ with the nicer screen for a similar sale (around $850) or I'm sure anything with a 4060 for around the same price and you'll be golden. This one I got has the 4050 in it and I was a little skeptical about the power, but nope. it's really sweet.

Love it! Plays all the games I play without a hiccup no lag smooth FPS the RTX4050 is a beast. Only draw back for me was the 512GB SDD, but I upgraded to a 1TB got it on sale for $74.99 from Best Buy and just for fun I installed a 32GB single stick for gaming ram it played fine withe what it came with but I just preferred more ram and SSD capacity. So far this has lived up to my expectations. Grabbed it on sale also $699 I think it was a steal.

Have been using it for 2 years now and I've been able to play most games on 60+ fps. Needs to be upgraded for heavier demanding games. Battery life could be a lot better as it dies quickly when gaming.

Great Specs for the price. Battery life. storage and ram are both lacking, but the ram and storage can be upgraded.

I bought this back in October of last year and mostly use it for video editing and light gaming. It has been perfect for both and i couldn't be happier with my purchase. It handles video editing great, with a upgrade to 32gb of RAM, which was super easy to do myself. I could recommend this laptop enough! If you are looking for a great compiter for a great price, look no further.

Outstanding laptop. A little loud at times with the fans, but the laptop stays cool and it runs anything I want a high settings with good frames.

This is a great gaming laptop for moderate use, a few small details hold it back. Internal storage and memory, which can be updated, and ultimately the display being only FHD. If you don't require or desire 4K gaming then this will certainly check every box and exceed in most areas. The price point on sale made it a must have for my family of gamers.

This thing is powerful! I managed to score this ine open box section. My wife needed a laptop for her job, so of course i took this opportunity to buy gaming one haha. Im glad i did, now i can play all the games i play on my Desktop, while on the road. The only thing this thing needs upgraded is the ram. The display is quality with a smooth refresh rate. Loving it!

Awesome laptop. Well worth the price. I’d add more DDR5 RAM suggesting a 32Gig of ram, and to top it off, an extra 1 terabyte of storage, if that doesn’t suit you, then go for a higher storage for all your games you can put on there. NO RGB lights but that is fine because I love white lights. This is perfect for me.

Ive gone from console to pc a couple of times due to getting pc’s that cant run AAA games reliably however this machine is a monster, it cant run everything max graphics but it can give you a beautiful picture without the loss of frames. I definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a strong gaming laptop.

This is my 1st gaming laptop but im no stranger to the gaming PC life. This isnt the most spec heavy build but its been able to handle the few games i throw at it. For example: Apex Legends, 7 Days to Die, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are the inly games i really play. But it runs them flawlessly. Keeps my FPS steady its great. Im also not big on Max settings. Also, im not one of those gamers who need to play everything on ultra! I just need my fps to be as high as possible. Outside of that i really dont care about 2k or 4k resolution. Im no pro gamer, i dont do any heavy working on here or anything. I play games here and there and i do some VERY light school work and internet browsing from time to time. I use this as a backup to my gaming desktop custom build. And take my word it is a super sold backup! Last thing, if you ARE gonna game on this get on of those laptop fan things. I game on here for maybe an hour at a time and it gets HOT during gaming! I mean scary hot!!!! Everything else is fine, its just gaming that gets this thing going and the fans blow heat out the sides and back but its still super hot. I dont have one because like i said, this is my backup but if youre planning on making this your daily driver for work/school/gaming, which its fully capable of, Id probably get a laptop cooler.
