Bought open-box and it works great! Overall enjoy how fast it is not only for gaming but also for school work. The fan does get noisy at times, but only when playing games in performance mode. The laptop also does well with games like Fortnite and Destiny 2 even without upgrading to 16gb ram. Definitely recommend this laptop for college students.

An amazing piece of tech from Lenovo. Super fast. Great for games and everything. Just updated with 1 Xtra 2btb Samsung SSD and 16 more GB ram. And it is amazing. Totally recommend. Is a Legion on the cheap The new core i5. 13 gen is blazing fast too

I picked up the Lenovo LOQ 15.6" Gaming Laptop, and I’ve been seriously impressed. It’s got the Intel Core i5-13420H processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 with 6GB of dedicated graphics—this thing handles everything I throw at it. The performance is super smooth whether I'm working, multitasking, or gaming. Games run great, even at high settings, and the visuals are crisp and vibrant thanks to the Full HD display. I didn’t expect such a good refresh rate either—it makes a difference during fast-paced gameplay or streaming. What stands out for me is the design. The Storm Grey finish looks sleek and modern, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on (plus, the backlighting is a nice touch when I’m working late). It’s got all the ports I need, Wi-Fi 6 for strong connectivity, and the fan system keeps it cool even when I’m pushing it hard. Honestly, for the price, it’s an awesome deal. I got this on sale for nearly half off and it's a wondering gaming computer. It runs all the newest games on the highest settings. I did add another 8GB of RAM, which was incredibly easy to do. Perfect for any gamer.

I bought an open box item and saved quite a bit off the even clearance price which was great. The laptop is excellent - fast and capable for everything I'm doing (gaming, business, personal). Decent battery life for a gaming laptop, not amazing which is OK. I didn't receive a charging cord with mine though, which I wasn't too happy about. I also would have had to go in to either exchange the laptop or see if they could find one in house. I don't have much time to make it out for something like that, so I just ordered a genuine lenovo ac adapter for the laptop instead. Would have been nicer for best buy to just send me the missing part instead of me having to go there, but it happens.

I bought this laptop for my granddaughter for a birthday present. She is starting eighth grade this year. She’s already addicted to the laptop. She loves playing video games on it and exploring all of the other web sights. She told me the graphics and speed are perfect for everything. She has been using the laptop for. Now she hast to hide it from her mother because her mother wants to use her laptop over her own laptop she told me it’s a 5 Star. My daughter left my house to go home and went by BestBuy on her way to pick it up it was ready for her when she got there no waiting she was in and out. My granddaughter was up all night setting it up and playing with it. She went to OH last week to visit her other grandparents and had to take the laptop with her to show it off.

For Black Friday price this is an awesome little laptop. Nvidia 2050 video card and 6mb ram, very cool. Starts and boots really fast, I'd say less than a minute from pushing the on button until you're surfing the Web and checking e mails. It is not full of a bunch of garbage programs and apps. The only time I ran on battery per was about 3hrs, however I didn't have it set on any power consumption settings so could have gotten more battery time. Windows 11 is super easy to use. So far I love the little guy.

Hands down the best laptop I've ever owned. I bought this about halfway through completing my law degree because I was homeschooling my children and we needed a second laptop. I love how seamless it is to complete my work on this computer and navigating it is a breeze. Now to top it off, my son is an avid gamer. So he asked me to try to download a game he plays on steam. I was able to download and run a couple of different games off of steam without an issue. I seriously have zero complaints.

The laptop has been perfect so far. The graphics together with its processing speed is great and I love the 1TB storage.

I had it when it was on sale for $600 and at that price it is worth it. But regardless of the price, it needs RAM upgrade to take advantage of the full potential of the laptop. Only comes with 1 stick of 8gb DDR5 at 5200 mhz, but because it works in single channel mode it operates at 2600mhz speed. It has 2nd ram slot free, so you can install another stick of 8gb or 16gb, if you want to save some money you can buy DDR5 4800mhz and it will still work fast enough. It also has a second slot for SSD so you can add more storage 1 or 2tb drive. The display is very good at 350 nits brightness, nice colors and 144hz refresh rate, that's one of the best parts of the laptop. The audio quality is disappointing, the speakers are small and the loudness is not enough. With headphones is better but it needs to be tweaked through the Nahimic software, and that means that you always have to carry the headset with you. The Nahimic software doesn't work out of the box, so you need to download and run the Nahimic restore tool, or uninstall and download again from the Microsoft store. The Core I5 CPU is not super fast but good enough for RTX 3050. The RTX 3050 has 6gb VRam and works at 95w power draw, so the performance is very good but because it only has 8gb system ram it pushed 82fps average on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, where on the same video card but with 16gb system ram installed it pushed 87fps average. So when the laptop is upgraded and the price is discounted enough on sale it's a good option.

This review is not on the technicality of the product but more servicing my gamer needs while away from home. The ability to connect and satisfy my game needs without a gaming console is satisfying. This is my first gamer laptop I'm not a hardcore gamer but sometimes I have the need to play some video games and the ease of connecting to your platform without carrying a bunch of games is a plus in my case to Xbox service platform just choose a game and play. The Levono LOQ Gaming Laptop is a plus for me no issues it delivers what is design for and Lenovo is building good computers. With this purchase I also bought an Xbox gaming controller, WD Black P40 for more storage and a Logitec 305 gaming mouse and everything connected flawlessly just plug and play. Not forgetting this computer is not just for gaming is a multitask productivity machine my Microsoft 365 subscription works great and movies also look great on this screen. I'm satisfied with this machine it is servicing my needs well. If you want technical reviews, go on YouTube there's all kinds of reviews. A word to the wise do a little research for comparisons, reviews, and prices always don't over kill buying the most expensive or feature full as these are machines and quickly get obsolete with future models. Buy for your needs.

I bought this laptop, I returned my rog ally for this laptop, I thought I was going to regret it, but I ended up liking it a lot, it is good at games, the screen is good and for a casual gamer like me, it is more than excellent and enjoyable to play here, change the ram, just add 16, and with those 8 add up to 24 gb ram and with that I play super comfortable. the best option if you are a casual gamer, you want to enjoy and have a fast laptop

Amazing machine. I run A LOT of emulators. Ex: snes9x, kega fusion, ryujinx, citra, etc. Ran every rom in any of the emulators flawlessly. And that was even after tweaking the settings up some. For those who game game. Wether its steam or a VM. Definitely a machine i would prefer!!! And the price tag on it was even better!!! Absolutely got moneys worth, then some.

It's great for the price. It's really cheap and easy to upgrade the RAM, which I do recommend, but, everything else is top notch. Battery life isn't great when playing unplugged, but why do you need to play games unplugged? You don't. This laptop has been known to go on sale, so I would wait for the sale, but even at it's current pricepoint it's still solid.

For the price, the laptop is very nice. Runs most games at 100-144 frames easily. Doesn’t look like some brick gaming laptop, it actually looks like a sleek laptop. Battery life isn’t great but for a gaming laptop can’t expect it to be the best. Good screen size and very nice keyboard. Ports on the back make it very accessible and cable management is great. Recommend this budget laptop instead of the HP Victus.

Super happy with this purchase. My older MSI graphics card burnt out. This was smaller cheaper and satisfactory replacement. Especially for the price. Pros: Value Size Keyboard Cons: Screen left alittle to be desired as far as clean sharp image. Also Upgraded the ram myself to 32gb which made a big improvement on how smooth games ran. Apex runs great. I edit videos and images on this with no issue.

I have tried other "Gaming Laptops" with similar specs and at a similar price range. However, the LOQ has been great. It has handled games as demanding as CyberPunk, COD, and Ark online with at least medium graphic settings enabled. Possibly the best game for your buck I had ever purchased.

Overall great build quality and performance! The screen is vibrant and crisp, i5 cpu is up to task. The read/write speeds of ssd is speedy, wifi is quick as well. The battery life is shorter than expected; and 8gb ram is like bare minimum in 2023. However it is easy to add another memory into slot. Bought as open box item very pleased overall.
