Motherboard Issues

Since I just missed the 1 year warranty window I have to pay out of pocket for a $600 motherboard on a $950 laptop on a nearly BRAND NEW computer that was VERY WELL taken care of. They should have a recall on 23-24 motherboards for Lenovo LOQ as I have been told by Geek Squad that they had faulty batches made in 23-24. This is the last time I'll be buying a Lenovo computer. Absolutely ridiculous.

To start, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Open the Settings app, select the Bluetooth & Devices tab on the left, then Touchpad. There should be options to make general touchpad setting adjustments.

I only use this while traveling and that happens not too often. So I've probably used this laptop about 10 times for the duration I have had it. The motherboard just died during normal usage and Lenovo refuses to do anything about it. After doing research, apparently this is a known issue with this specific model/manufacturing date. My husband has had a Lenovo laptop for the last 13 years and its still working. Who knew this would happen to something that was supposed to be better?
