This monitor ships with AMD FreeSync Technology which is designed to eliminate stuttering and/or tearing in games and videos by locking a display's refresh rate to the frame rate of the graphics card. Also you can adjust to different Display Modes and change screen resolution, both of which may help with the screen flicker issue you mention. Here is a link to the User Guide for this monitor which illustrates the adjustments that are available within the Onscreen Settings Menus, starting on page 2-4: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/monitor/lenovo_q24i-10_ug_201907_version1_en.pdf.
