Warning...Family Bell feature does not work

Posted .Hi Jamie, we are sorry you are experiencing this issue with your Lenovo Smart Clock. We appreciate your feedback and thank you bringing this issue to our attention on the forums. While we investigate this further may we suggest you use the "Broadcast" feature instead. This will allow you to use the Lenovo Smart Clock as an intercom and it will even chime a sound before the message. To utilize this function just say "Hey Google Broadcast a message". Another possible work around would be to add calendar events to a connected Google Calendar. This will give an audible notification as well as on on screen notification when the event time comes to pass. If you need anything further please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at 866-426-0911.

Posted .While the Lenovo Smart Clock does not play videos for entertainment currently (you can view your home security camers), your device provides lots of great features and functions to be a perfect compact smart home device. I recommend going to our How-To & Solutions Guide to learn some more about the different functions and settings.

Nice features, but not reliable

Very happy with the product, initially, due to all of the features - especially the multiple alarms and the ability to select the specific dates for those alarms. A week after the return window expired my unit started losing its connection to the internet. One of the other unit is ten feet away, and further away from the router, and it is constantly connected, even when my unit is trying to reconnect, so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my router. Tried it in a different location, closer to the router - same issue. I no longer feel confident that it will function as it should, since it keeps dropping the internet connection. I need a reliable alarm. Will have to throw it out. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Good Display/Google Assistant

One thing I don't like, and I have checked the settings, is that twice now the product has shut down itself. There is a setting to have the display react or not react to ambient light, and I have selected never to turn off, and still twice it has shut down. That is it's only flaw.

There is a setting to toggle on or off the "Auto Dim" feature as well as a setting to control what the clock does when in low light. For example you can have the screen turn off, dim slightly, or dim heavily depending on your preference. You can try to factory reset the device if these settings aren't behaving correctly. To perform a factory reset please hold down the “Volume + and – ” buttons on top of your device for 8 Seconds. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support team at 866-426-0911
