It only responds half the time. I can be sitting right next to it, say hey Google, and it does nothing. My Google home Mini 40+ feet away on the second floor landing of my house responds and executes the command.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with Voice Commands with your Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. You can improve your voice recognition with the Google Assistant within the Smart Clock by going to the Google Home APP you used for the initial setup of the Smart Clock. Tap the Settings Gear icon at the top right of the opening screen for this Smart Clock within the Google Home APP. Then select Activate Voice Match at the top of the first Settings screen you see. Turn on Other Devices Voice Match. Select your Smart Clock at the device you want to activate Voice Match on. Follow any on-screen instructions to improve your Voice Commands through your Smart Clock. If the issue continues after the Voice Match process, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for Smart Devices at: 866-426-0911.

Otherwise, we are pleased with the product, especially appearance.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. The Smart Clock has Bluetooth 4.2 capability built in, but does not have audio out over Bluetooth. You can pair the Smart Clock to your other Google Assistant compatible speakers through the Home Home APP. The Google Assistant will not be able to recognize Voice Commands without first hearing the alert phrase of either Hey Google or OK Google. Try Hey Google, QUIT (for the function the Smart Clock is currently performing) The one exception is halting an alarm. You can simply say STOP while the alarm is sounding to stop an alarm.
