    This pen works well under normal (dry) circumstances. I shoot a lot near the ocean and it does not work when ocean mist gets on my lens.

    Whatever the cleaning pad side of this pen left small chunks of itself all over my lens. It cleaded well but you need to take a cleaning cloth to it to get all the debris off. If you don't remember to do that expect spots on your photos.
