I got this for a gift for a family member. They loved it! They were glad that all of movies were in one place.

Always a big fan of the Lethal Weapon movies (not so much 4) only wish they had a bluray version

I've wanted to get the Lethal Weapon series for a while. When I saw it in store for $12.99 (the ENTIRE series in on package), I didn't even hesitate. I didn't even think. I just grabbed it, thinking all the while that it was a prank and that the register would reveal the real price. But it wasn't. It's true. It's just too good to BE true. This is one of the greatest action series of all time. All of the movies are unique, but they're all about Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson), a former special ops guy turned cop with a death wish, and Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover), a no-nonsense, older cop, who, as everyone has now heard, "is getting too old for this s***". Throughout the films, these two mismatched partners have to struggle with each other as they fight to stop crime. This may sound typical of the genre, but these films INVENTED the genre, and they still do it the best. Lethal Weapon is about how Riggs, who is suicidal after his wife's death in a car crash, gets partnered up with murtaugh, and the two try to uncover the mystery behind the suspicious suicide of the daughter of murtaugh's old friend. Lethal Weapon 2 involves a South African ambassador who is really a drug lord and thus poses a serious threat to the disfunctional duo, what with the fact that his diplomatic immunity makes him immune from police interference. This also introduces Leo (Joe Pesci), a fast-talking small-time crook who drives the other two guys crazy. Lethal Weapon 3 involves a crooked cop turned arms dealer and the introduction of Lorna Cole, a tough policewoman who becomes a sort of foil for Riggs. Lethal Weapon 4, which may be my favorite of the bunch, is about an asian slave ring that Riggs and Murtaugh accidentally discover. Jet Li plays one the villains, and naturally his martial arts skills are showcased. This movie's just a lot of fun. It's got plenty of action, and Riggs is even crazier than ever, even in his fourth outing. The beginning sequence involving a guy with an aromored suit and a flame thrower is excellent, and has one of my favorite lines in the series ("I just wanted to see if you'd really do it"). Be sure to check these out if you haven't seen them. All of the films come in their best version (the first 3 have directors uts that are present in this set), and the picture quality leaves nothing to be desired. This series is a great addition to anyone's collection.

the lethal weopon series is another that has always been a favorite of mine. from the first one that introduces us to rigs and murtaugh, to the addition of joe peschi who plays a comical role in the movies. the series has good action, a great story and cops who do not always play by the book but get the job done. the series isnt a hardcore action flick, there are some funny moments as well as backstory involving some of the characters past, though when the action picks up it is good. there are moments in the series that range from toilet bombs, the destruction of murtachs wifes car, blowing up a pyro-maniac, as well as other rememborable moments that are funny. all the lethal weopon movies are great fun and enjoyable. i myself grew up with them and they are worth adding to your collection.

My only complaint I have is not of the movies, but of the discs. I hate that there are two discs and that I have to flip them over. I get so lazy sometimes, that I just let the first movie play over and over again. I have done it multiple times now. These movies will never urk me the wrong way or make me feel bad about hollywood. I hope Murtaugh and Riggs stop aging so that I can enjoy them later in life. If not, i'll just buy several discs and put them all in different safe places in case of a natural disaster. They are very good at lifting my spirits up.

All four of these movies were lethal entertainment! I'd have to say " Lethal Weapon 2 " was my personal favorite, but they all were equally funny and action packed to the limit. There wasn't as much violence as there was language, but alot of '' adult '' humor thruout all of the movies. Definatly not a family film, but if you can take a little '' questionable '' humor and language I'd strongly recomend these films as they are loads of laughs and highly affordable.

I enjoy Mel Gibson's character in all 4 movies. He has a sense of humor with the Three Stooges thrown in. The movies are action packed with a little romance thrown in. Danny Glover's character is funny too. He is great in the movies!! The movie set is great! I would definitely recommend the movies to anyone who likes action/drama movies.

I love this dvd i was not going to buy this dvd because it was expensive buy they released it for 10 dollars i did not hesitate to buy it my favorite Lethal Weapon is part 3 i recomed this dvd to anybody who a huge Lethal Weapon fan

man Lethal Weapon with Mel Gibsion and Danny Glover an action movie also has some comedy my favorite part on Lethal Weapon 2 is the commercial and the dad gets all uptight LoL pretty funny ! Mel Gibsion was hot! real hot!

I love all four of these movies. The are funny and have a ton of action. The best part is that the four pack cost as much as the three pack! So go buy it.
