I bought this model previously and loved it and wanted to stick with the same one when mine stopped working after 3 years of heavy use. The unit sent to me is used and I’m disgusted! There’s hair and dirt in the filters and nothing was wrapped in the original plastic except the owners manual. The unit also doesn’t turn on when plugged in. It displays a faint red light and that all. It’s like there’s no quality control or they’re trying to sell off previous returns and damages. Beware!

Ordered a new One and received one that’s used! Beyond disappointed. The filters are dirty, scuffs and marks all over the tip snd front of it

Stop working after 14 months changed the filter when needed and after 14 months it just went out

Defective model. I bought 2 and they stopped working!!! Customer service won’t help and they ignore customer inquiries (unless you’re buying their product)

There is a common defect of this machine, that it won't turn on after 2-3 years of use. My air purifier broke down completely after 3.5 years of use. I reached out to the company but they won't do anything about this as they claim it's outside of 2 year warranty. This is a completely waste of money.

Less than 2 yrs old and it stopped working after changing the filter (which were not cheap, as I bought a 2-pack). The control panel is unresponsive. Now that I've done some searching, this is not an uncommon problem.

I am old school I guess and I hope that expensive devices like these to last a bit more than a year and a half. I hope that support writes me and offers me something. It simply won't turn on anymore. I purchased two years ago but had it unplugged in storage for the past six months. Upon taking it back out, it just won't power on. No issues with cord, no issues with outlet, followed all troubleshooting stuff, and in doing so am finding out that these units and this brand are known to simply fail after a couple years. That's a lot of plastic and money down the drain, especially if you buy filters regularly.

I purchased a unit in late 2019, took about 6 months for the filter to reach 76% filter life and then never moved from there. Returned it and got another , after 4 months of constant use it reach again 76% filter life. The filter still looks cleans after all those months of use. Do your self a favor and buy a fan.. it will probably collect more dust than this useless box that can’t even serve as fan.

I bought one of these from Best Buy, and one off Amazon because of stock availability and shipping time. BOTH of them are garbage. I got them to use in rooms that we didn't already have air purifiers in (Winix in one, and a Dyson TP02 in the other) and they have been running on auto for 12+ hours now, never saying they air quality was any better than "VERY GOOD." I thought that was suspect, so I set the Dyson and Winix in those same rooms, and both of them had no problem telling me the air quality was not good. Returning this to the store today, and the other one is going back to Amazon. If 1 was not working, i'd chalk it up to a one off, but both of them, from 2 different retailers? Junk.

I bought three of these for my home and office. Two of them stopped working in the second year of ownership. They seemed to work well cleaning the air, but the fact that they seem cheaply made, I can't give them anything more than a 1 star.

inacccurate website description. Website shows 361 sf coverage, box and manual show 290 sf of coverage. Video for item shows LV-PUR131s - this model matches the website specs. Item received was LV-RH131s. Will return and buy from Amazon - more expensive but the model desired.

I am really bummed. Today it just abruptly stopped working. It’s only been about 1.5 years since I purchased it.

I've had it for just under 2 weeks and will be returning it and getting something else. I placed it on the tv stand behind my living room TV and dust still accumulated all over the stand after a day or two. I watch smoke float in the opposite direction of the device. Super weak. The worst part is that it randomly shuts off several times a day. It doesn't matter what mode it's on... auto, low/med/high.. I tried plugging it into multiple outlets and surge protectors throughout my home and that made no difference. The quality is average at best. it isn't very sturdy. the rear door which holds the filters is flimsy and moves around when you lift or move the device. would have been great for the $ if it worked, but i guess you get what you pay for.

Disappointed in the power of it’s air intake I placed a small piece of paper near the air intake opening and it barely even pulled towards it and for those who might ask, yes the filters are properly installed. I had it in a room half the size it states it would purify but it didn’t remove the small unknown particles that were floating around likeI I thought it would even after several hours and I mean several hours I could still see stuff floating around in the air. I waited to long to use it so I own it now will be contacting the company to see if there may just be a problem with the one I have and if we can rectify the situation.

This I purchase this 2/2021 and it stopped working 5/2022. Just stopped working. It’s out of warranty so a complete waste of money.

Bought 2 of these. Worked well at first. Both crapped out within a few days of each other. Right after warranty expired. Very disappointing.

I changed the cloth outer filter because it was dirty and the unit just stopped working. Granted it's been running on auto ever since I got it.

I wanted this to work so bad that I bought two different ones and they both did I ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I can’t believe that for so much money, this thing did nothing. We have a dog and the point for was to help with dander and allergens in the air. My fan does more than this thing. It’s pointless and I wouldn’t recommend.

Had six, they always fail after two years or so due to a burnt out resistor on the control board.

Item arrived in only the original box for the filter. The box was pretty beaten up during shipping and barely taped together when it got to me. To add insult to injury, when I opened the filter and was getting it set up, the manufacturer has a sticker on the top part you are supposed to peel off. I peeled it and it seriously damaged the protective coating across all of the buttons. What a terrible design flaw. Ive had the machine for 30 minutes and it already looks used. I will be returning ASAP.
