Hard to use touch pad

Once you get the controls to work the rest of it works fine.

It only had a small ding on the top back edge. Heats up food quickly and evenly. Wish LG however would make the numbers light up slightly on the keypad to easily read them. So far it’s been great.

Sometime i want to push the door open button with my left hand. And it wont open unless you reach a round the right side and push the safety button also.

It looks better in pics that what really is, smelled weird the first day I used it (like burning plastic), the settings are way basic, (not different options) and it doesn’t warm up any better than any other cheaper microwave so not worth the price. I didn’t return it because i threw away the box as soon as I opened. I won’t recommend it

We recommend wiping the interior with a mild solution of water and baking soda and running the unit with a cup of water and lemon juice for several minutes to help eliminate lingering odors. It was a little more expensive but so far is working great and first the space. It has a lot of nice features including child proof mechanism that can be disabled if needed. I highly recommend.

I had the older model for over 7 years and wouldn’t go to any other make. Fits perfect in my space and still has a lot of room inside, plus lots of power.

It was easy to use, I love that you can just pinch in the time and hit start rather than having to select time or power etc. it plays a not too loud pleasant tune when done and had no complaints u til it stopped working a month in!!! I’ve had microtonal lasted 10-15 years so this is a total bummer!!! Best Buy only gives you 15days to return so now I’m outside the window :( very disappointed in LG

Control panel could be better. Please when designing a countertop microwave, ensure that it takes less pressure to activate the buttons than it does to shove the entire microwave across the countertop.

Size advertised os wrong

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this and I hate it. I have used microwave ovens for years, decades to be honest. The LG is confusing and diffuclt to use. There's a sticker next to the door button with instructions on how to open. You have to use your right middle finger. And ONLY your right hand, to press a small button on the side that releases the door button on the front. Here's a clue: If you need instructions to show people how to just open the door, you have made your product difficult to use. That sticker will wear off in short order and then every new person to use it will have to study the design until they notice a small black button on the side. This is dumb. Have something in your right hand and want to open with your left? No. Not physically possible. I tried auto reheat for a cup of water. It's a lot of steps to just set 2 minutes. The menu suggests that you can adjust the number of cups. But you can't as you try to find the +/- buttons or enter 1, 2, 3 or some other key to change the display. I have a broken microwave that takes several minutes to just heat a cup of water and I'm going to use it instead and return this one.
