I did not need a large replacement one, since all I really do is reheat food or cook rice, vegetables or small frozen dinners, and this is working great so far. I've only had it about a month and have not used all the features yet, but I'm happy with the purchase. Turning off the child proof features was easy and the instructions simple to follow. So far, I'm happy with the microwave.

It heats consistently and has a touch key pad for entering time. After about two months, the previous LG microwave heated inconsistently (sometimes very good, sometimes not good) and it had an odd keypad -- unable to enter a specific time, but could use buttons repeatedly for 10 or 30 second increments. Replaced it after 14 months of disappointment with this model which we really like.

Good microwave with issues

However, the chemical odor while cooking is awful. It has diminished over the last few months, but it is still slightly noticeable. Also, the microwave’s plate rattles when rotating. I tried moving my food to the center and in many positions around the plate and it makes no difference. I am somewhat satisfied but would not buy one again.
