Well-priced option that packs all the necessities a microwave needs to be more than functional, but there's no special bells and whistles. For the normal, everyday consumer, this microwave will suit them just fine.

The microwave does what it is supposed to, no major complaints. The only reason it loses a star is because it seems to make a lot of noise when running, more than most microwaves I have come across.

Everything works great. One minor personal preference missing. Kitchen Timer can't work at the same time when cooking. When you have the kitchen timer set, you can use it as a microwave. My older microwave that I am replacing could do both at the same time and is a must for us. Planning to keep shopping. Pro Lights comes on when cooking and when door opened. It can set to cook in different power setting continuously up to 3 times. Have kitchen timer Con: kitchen timer and cooking can work at the same home. Door can't open pass 90°.

A number of reviews said that this microwave is loud but the one we bought is no louder than our previous one and it was never an issue. Sleek design nice interior. Happy with product

I am sort of wishing I had just bought another Panasonic. this one is ok, but having bought LG washer, dryer, refrigerator and been very pleased with them, I expected better for this simple appliance. As others have noted, the buttons don't light up, so they can be hard to see in dim light. I knew this before I bought it based on reviews. But no one mentioned how loud it is! At first I thought I didn't have it stable, or something was against it because it makes a very loud rattling noise while running. It drowns out the TV. I do like the inside. I think it will be much easier to keep clean. The external size is very close to the Panasonic that I had, but the interior is much smaller and this is only 1000W, where the other was 1200W. But as I don't use it to really cook food, just re-heat, frozen dinners, etc. it is fine.

Cheaply made, tinny side panels and noisy motor causes vibration. Hard to read panel of ready buttons makes programming difficult. No back lighting. Other than that, works effectively.

This microwave cooks fine BUT it has some very noisy drawbacks. First, the door sounds like a car door slamming when you close it. It even sounds loud just to open it. Second, the beeps are louder than an alarm clock and you cannot adjust the volume. Third, it sounds like a truck in idle when it's running. So, although it cooks fine, it is way too noisy. If you get up in middle of night to heat leftovers, you might end up waking up everybody in the house.

We bought this as a replacement when our LG broke. I chose the size based on the label of the older microwave but for some reason this seems smaller. But it does the job. It has convenient one-touch buttons. Price is fair.

This microwave is very good and match all the basic requirements. Replaced my earlier one to have a higher power one and I am quite satisfied with this buy. Price is also very high.

It has stunned me to find how much variation there is in microwave features. After owning microwaves for decades, I mistakenly assumed they all functioned the same. Wrong. This model (and all smaller LG microwaves) has an interior light that works when the machine is running, but goes out when you open the door. I guess if you only need a smaller unit, you deserve to get burned when you reach in to retrieve your piping hot dish or drink. And how difficult would it be to clean it on the inside, without a light? Sheer madness in the designers of this. I guess a little electric light switch took up to much room in the smaller housing. As soon as I plugged this in and discovered no light, it went straight back in the box and back to the store the next day.

Microwave is working great! Cooks and heats better than any Microwave I've purchased in the past and very easy to use!

I mean really, aren't they all the same? The previous microwave I had I purchased at Best Buy - it was 7 years old -- I felt like it was time to replace if for no other reason, less energy expenditure. It is pretty, fingerprints show on the stainless (boo), but otherwise, it is acceptable. I bought this brand b/c the price was less than 100 bucks.

It is small and fit my kitchen perfectly. At the same time it get the job done! Great job LG!

Others have mentioned the fact that the numerical display is not back-lit. I agree that this is unfortunate, but I don't know how much a detail like that would have added to the cost of the unit. The dark display took some getting used to, but before long, I rarely noticed that at all.
