BASIC MICROWAVE

Moderatly disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read Consumer Reports and Best Buy product reviews before buying this, but I have to say this unit has been a disappointment. It does a good job of evenly cooking packaged food on High, when there are specific time recommendations on a label, but for cooking or warming many foods there is a lot of guess-work. The One Touch Control is not user friendly, and requires having the manual memorized or nearby for reference. The biggest annoyance is the very dark control panel. It could use some backlighting or other illumination of the text. This is a low profile unit, so if you have it on a counter you have to bend down and stick your face right up to it to see where the buttons are. Otherwise, the only thing you can read while standing at any distance at all is the clock.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only negatives are the interior color is so dark it is difficult to see items in the oven. the keypad - i need the light on in the kitchen to see the numbers - my old GE micro did not have illuminated buttons - but, they were very easy to see, even in low light levels.

Perfect fit!

Had to convert the over head cabinet to a shelf to place the microwave there. The first microwave & bought didn't fit well because of where the outlet was located & the plug from the microwave. This one fits perfectly & is more then ample for what we use it for.
