I really like this Microwave. This is the second one I purchased. The first quit working after about a year and a half. I liked it so much I bought the same one to replace it.

Microwave looks really nice and works good but the control panel was not thought out. It is extremely reflective and my husband and I cannot see it unless we wear reading glasses and crouch down because of the light labeling and the reflective quality of the finish. You also cannot see your food inside when it is cooking because it is dark. We will be returning it because we don't want to deal with this on a daily basis.

This microwave was a gift. It works fine but there are a couple of features that I do not like. The interior light comes on when you open the door but does not stay on while cooking: you can't catch boil-overs or watch for problems. The panel is very shiny and hard to read. I was used to having a white panel with black numbers. The sensor cooking features are nice.

Turntable stopped turning after 2 months. Cleaned it can't find any obstructions. LG wants to do a long return process. Can't see inside either. Steer clear of this microwave.

We purchased this microwave after ours died. We needed one that fit into the space under one of our cabinets. Even though I was used to having a shelf in my old microwave, this one is very roomy and has all the functions that I was used to and then some!!

I purchased this microwave in June 2014. Today, 1 year and 6 months later (on Christmas Day!), it stopped working. No warning, no nothing, just stopped! I was in the middle of a significant amount of cooking, and I can tell you I was NOT happy. I will never buy this brand again. It is just not acceptable that a microwave that had worked perfectly since being purchased should quit for no apparent reason after just 18 months. I will now look for another, more respected older brand to buy.

Good microwave, does the job. Good space inside. The only draw back is this has a mirrored finish where the buttons are.

This LG microwave lasted about 4 months before it died. It was only used a handful of times per week. I called LG since it was still under warranty. The referred me to a local appliance business for warranty repairs. Now that I have been without a microwave for one week, they finally looked at it and said that a new part "transformer" needed to be ordered and that it should arrive sometime in the next week or so. This is ridiculous for a $180 microwave. I could have bought 3 cheap ones for this price and at least had something that worked instead of having my money tied up in a non working microwave awaiting repairs for multiple weeks.

I purchased this microwave on 6/28/2014 from Best Buy, in large part because of their recommendation. I tried to use it on 8/8/2015, it made a large sound and completely went dark. I unplugged it and plugged it in again, but nothing happened. It is totally dead. I liked it while it worked, but 1 year and 41 days is absurd. We own two other microwaves which we purchased in 1993 which are still working just fine. I went by Best Buy today and they said they were sorry, but they couldn't do anything about it. Then they asked if I would like to purchase it again, and I respectfully declined. There is only one possible explanation for this and that is poor quality. I really thought LG would make a good product and stand behind it.

Great price for the money and great product very efficient and the color

For a smaller microwave, it does a fine job. We use it for reheating, heating from frozen, defrosting, and for vegetables, but no meat preparation. The sensor cook for vegetables I find to be a little long for my taste. If I stop it when it switches over to timer, the veggies are perfect. If I let it go to end they are still good but a little too soft for my taste.

I really wanted this one, to replace my 23 years old SHARP stopped working.. I got it from the store.. there was not sample on the floor.. The power cable was 4 inches too short ... but I was very disappointed when I open the door and it has a BLACK interior.. how this can help for an easy cleaning?... The microwave should be complete WHITE... I never use it .. returning it to the store.

This microwave stopped working after one year and one month. LG refused to do anything because it was one month out of warranty. When it was working, it cooked unevenly and made a lot of noise. I bought LG because I thought the company made reliable appliances. This model was clearly a lemon and it is unfortunate the company doesn't stand behind it.

Best buy was having a sale on display models. Microwave was marked down to $100 and was then on sale for half off. $50 was a great price. My son and daughter-in-law use it daily and love it. This microwave would be a good buy even at regular price. Plenty of wattage, space and features for a young married couple.

Works good. Door is light weight - seems a bit flimsy. Buttons are small and difficult to see sometimes.

Bought this microwave 7/4/14. It stopped working 9/6/15. After reading reviews on other websites, I'm not surprised by the short lifespan of this particular model. I really enjoyed using this microwave despite the mirrored front which made it difficult at times to see the functions. I hate the fact that it didn't last long.

The microwave starts fine, but would stop running after around a minute, while the timer still counting down. The problem actually appeared much earlier then 9 month, but now the failure happens every time. I'm disappointed at the short life.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. After a difficult schlep from store to the home, unpack the microwave and plug it in. DEAD! Tested my outlet which works fine. Not so for the microwave. I cannot lug this thing back. My old LG failed after six years with also a circuit issue.

Looked great. Thought it was a good purchase. Didn't take the 5 yr warranty from Best Buy...Really its a microwave. I purchased the microwave 10/5/13. You guessed it, 10/11/14, and it will no longer heat from the numbers. It will heat if I use preset cook buttons like rice or veggie. Not worth it!!

This microwave stopped functioning after about six months. Also, I never really cared for the "mirror" display. It was actually hard to see in certain lighting conditions. On the plus side, LG seems to be responsive to the warranty claim so far.
