It was purchased new August 2013 and it failed March 2015, very sad life span. Used once or twice per day max. The mirrored key pad looks fancy in the store but is very difficult to see in your home. One and done with LG microwaves for me.

I bought this microwave in Feb 2015 and by July it was busted. I had issues with it heating food thoroughly and then finally it blew a fuse or something. Poor quality! At least I was able to get a full refund from Best Buy.

Looks great. Would be great if the touch keys were visible. With my reading glasses on, and a flashlight, I can sorta' make out the touch keys. Tiny gray letters on a black background with no backlight. The only thing visible is the clock...which you can hide with the energy saving option on the cancel/stop key. Whoever designed this must not have looked at the touch panel in a normally lighted kitchen. It may work well,t if I could only see the touch panel keys. Returning it tomorrow to Best Buy. Learned my lesson not to buy from the Best Buy web site for store pickup without not seeing the product first. My bad...and LG's bad for a bad design.

Microwave failed in 11 months, Best Buy had no record of purchase. LG 1 year warranty is worthless.

Disappointed! It died after a year and a half. Totally unacceptable. I absolutely WILL NOT be replacing it with another LG.

Display pad is IMPOSSIBLE to read unless there is a lot of light in the room.

This is s fairly basic microwave oven that did it's job for 8 months then stopped heating.

Works great and looks awesome with the mirror finish on the door.

The control buttons/keyboard are silver and are on a mirrored background which makes them disappear. The reflection of my light colored counter tops made the keys COMPLETELY disappear when looking at the oven from straight in front. When standing to the side they reappear but are still hard to differentiate against the mirrored background. It's like a magic trick! It makes you wonder how this slipped by the manufacturer and got to the market place. I returned it to the store. The white and stainless models do not appear to be as bad with this issue.

Read reviews and did my research and picked out this unit. Everything seemed to work fine until on month 13 of owning the microwave it suddenly broke. LG would not stand by their product because it was out of warranty , by only a month mind you. I am so disappointed that after only 13months that a 169.00 machine is now useless . Would not recommend this product to anyone and I will no longer be buying LG based off this experience.

We have had this less than 2 months and it died. I have called the LG folks and the fist repair service number they gave me does not service microwaves. I spent another 15 minutes on the phone with them to get a phone number for a local repair service. We are a home with two adults. We are not overly hard on appliances. Poor product. Poor customer service.

I had done some research and the LG microwaves were highly recommended. We bought it and brought it home to use that evening. We got less than 1 minute of service before it made a loud pop and was dead. Now I have to box it back up and haul it 35 miles (one way) back to Best Buy to replace it. I think we'll try a different brand on our next one. Gotta go to fill up the car and spend another 3 hours of my day off to replace this.

Drove a while to best buy, picked this unit up, brought it home. 1.5 hours of my time. Then, I plugged it in.............nothing. Went through the troubleshooting.................nothing. Called customer service and they gave me two options. Take it back or send out a repairman in 3 to 5 days. I think I will take it back. Currently making a hell of a paperweight.

I purchased this microwave just under three months ago. Today it decided that it had enough of warming up my delicious leftovers. It is still under warranty, but I am required to ship it off in order for it to be repaired. Having a two-year old and a very pregnant wife at home, I can't see that shipping it off will be beneficial to me. Guess I'll go purchase a new microwave from a different retailer.

I thought this was a good microwave but it stopped working after 11 months.

1 month & 3 days after the warranty expired so did the microwave. I'm shocked that such a quality brand would produce such a inadequate product.
