My old microwave was problematic and this LG was the replacement. It cooks potatoes more throughly than the old one but I have to be careful with popcorn and stop it early because it is so powerful. I took the old microwave to Best Buy because I had a 4 year extended warranty and Best Buy gave me a gift card for this new LG. Thanks Best Buy and I am thankful my microwave problem has been resolved!

I like this microwave well enough. My only reason for only giving it a 4 star rating is that it is a little difficult to operate. Even though I have been struggling through the instructions and getting the job done, it is he most confusing microwave I have owned. With that said, I have noticed that all new appliances in the last few years are also more difficult to operate,

I am happy with this microwave. There's only one thing I wish was here. Maybe I don't know how to set it but it would be really nice if I press numbers 1 thru 6 and it automatically started heating. For example ,If I press 2 it'll heat for 2:00 min, etc. It's hard to rate it at 4 just for that.

It's great a little big for my kitchen but I love it it's just what I needed

difficult to rate -- I bought this almost a year ago. It worked great until the other day when it stopped heating. Thank goodness it is just barely within the warranty period. LG will replace or refund.

Love LG products and this is my 3rd microwave (for different locations and sizes) This is the first one that I needed to press a button on the side before pressing the front to open the microwave door. I understand the safety feature, but the button always catches my finger and pinches it. I don't like that. Maybe find a different way to open the door. Otherwise love the microwave and Best Buy.

Works as literature says and the added power is a plus for all of our cooking.

Works as designed! Quiet and the child lock on the door is a great feature for anyone that has young children.

Simple but very effective microwave oven, it's intuitive on its controls. A bargin at the price I bought it. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Of the choices provided, this was the best option for my household. I dislike the the 2 finger open but like that with a screwdriver you can disarm that function. I wish the clock didnt time out and have to be reset every time you want to see it.
