    It’s a nice microwave, with some intuitive features. However, I cant use it. Every time I have gone to ise it, it trips the breaker. Not just sometimes, but EVERY. TIME. I would exchange if I could, but i didn’t find out this would happen until I could no longer return it (bought new appliances for a house that was being built). Now I have to buy another microwave and eat a $200 charge for this one.

    It has a double button push system to open...did not understand how that would be an issue until I had my hand full and needed to use that hand to push button and push bar simultaneously. Inconvenient.

    Purchase this in March 2025 by April 2026 it stopped heating reached out to manufacturer and they did everything in their power to dodge helping me in any way shape or form super disappointed with this purchase

    Got this microwave for my elderly parents. After using for a bit, it’s the worst. Very difficult to see the display and use control panel…and the trim kit costs more than the microwave! Wish we could return!!

    Worked great for 1.5 years. Then died.

    No issues for first 1.5 years then power stopped working. Warrenty is 1 year so no help to fix/replace. Expected a longer lasting product from Best Buy and LG. Would not recommend.

    Stopped working after two weeks.

    First and last time buying an LG microwave. The unit stopped heating food after two weeks and it was literally hotter on the outside while "cooking"! I know there can be lemons but this was the first time a microwave died like this. It was replacing my Kenmore that I had for 12+ years. Also the buttons are hard to see if the kitchen it not well lit.

    Product was returned as it failed in all aspects of thawing,reheating ,cooking and defrost. The exact same model was purchased prior and it runs spot on and is excellent. Disappointed that QC let one escape their attention as we have other LG products that operate flawlessly. My total tech membership was a real asset as the return and refund was handled with the utmost professionalism and customer courtesy by Best Buy. I’m still left wondering do I try and buy another LG Microwave or opt for a different manufacturer. Just not in the habit of returning purchases.

    after 30 days it stop working, will not heat food. outside and top became very hot. it will be returned.

    Fire Alarm

    When we used it triggers the fire alarm and had bad smell. Not sure why but cleaned the alarm etc. Nothing helped. Returned it.

    Works like a microwave but sounds like a heavy machine running in the kitchen. Will be exchanging or returning. Either its defective, or garbage. Its also very flimsy compared to the Panasonic we came from that ran for 20 years.

    Dows not heat up sometimes

    Not sure if this is a defect or not but sometimes it heats up food easily (30 sec) while sometimes it can take 2 minutes (may even come out cold; yes the exact temp when I placed in the micowave) for the exact same portion of food. Kind of disappointing.
