The LG 1.5 microwave has worked flawlessly since purchase. It is a very attractive unit and takes nominal counter space. The instruction times for defrosting and cooking are spot on. LG products are the best. This is my third major appliance from this particular brand that i have purchased within a 30 day time period.

I replaced a counter top microwave that had the "built in" look over the oven with this LG, and happily i did not have to buy the extra built in kit. It fit on the one I already had. The 1100 watts is cooks food fast, although, I find that I mainly use the 30 second button most of the time, but there is also a soften or melt option which is a nice feature for butter or rock solid ice creams.

Our old microwave died and we needed a new one right away. I went on the Best Buy website and checked it out. It was so helpful to know which ones were available at our store location. We went to the store, spent a minimum amount of time getting the one we selected and were very soon ready to use the new one. When we used the new one we found it to be very satisfactory and with some auto heat settings that our old one did not. Very pleased with our purchase!!!

Controls are understandable. Easy to clean inside and out.

Easy use more comfortable with in kitchen save time

I wish the control panel lit up, as it is difficult to see. For seniors, who have fading vision, it is almost impossible to see the numbers. Also, the dark color inside makes it difficult to know when to wipe out. However, one can't see the dirt.

Plenty of user friendly features , large capacity at a fair price. Works well. I would prefer better visabilty of the controls . I also think the door closes a little too loud and easily slams shut.

using the most cooking capacity for a mid size microwave

This microwave does a great job and is powerful at heating food quickly. Microwave is durable and easy to use.
