Product is very noisy. Sounds like a chain saw. Can hear from two rooms away. Contacted LG. I am sorry to say Customer Service was very poor. Please note that LG will not accept BestBuy receipt as proof of purchase for warranty.

Bought for kitchen when old microwave died. Smaller but high power with great options.

Do not buy this microwave. The unit is NOT like the box shows. There is no back-lighting to touch-pad. And there is not enough light from inside to see what you are pressing. I regret getting this.

I purchased this microwave for my office and it has been a great microwave for the price.

The worst microwave I've ever owned! On my second unit in less than a month and it is going back today. First one started making loose fan noises within the first week. Have other LG products so gave it a second chance. Second unit very loud on start and has also developed multiple vibration noises, can't even stop them with hand pressing top like you could with the firts one. Back to another brand,

So much for the 10 year warranty on the magnetron! Purchased this on 11/16/2013 and it died on 3/22/2016. It also came with two annoying features right out of the box. First, a plastic wrap attached to the body with a bunch of screws, so the only way to get rid of all the plastic is to remove & replace all the screws. Second, it has 2 hard rubber legs & 2 steel legs, so unless you have a non-skid surface to put it on, it's going to scoot all over the place! Use your money on a better product!

I liked the microwave while it worked. Won't buy another LG. It only lasted 1.5 - 2 years!! Will be sure to buy warranty next time with different brand!

It's loud when you run it, loud when you open the door, and really loud when you close the door. It echos even. The quick start button is in the middle of the key pad when it should be easy to locate - like on the bottom. The soften and melt buttons make no sense. You'd think that they would be like the easy button and start when you push them. But no, you have to push them twice, and from there I have never figured out what really makes them start. I just start pushing random buttons. They are useless.

The microwave is very attractive and didn't take up a lot of space on my counter despite its large capacity. It also complemented my other appliances in the kitchen. It did however completely quit heating up after 10 months. The timer and display would work but not heat or light would come on. I wish it had worked longer because I loved it but I believe we will be purchasing a different brand next time.

I really liked the style of this microwave and bought it because of the good reviews. The inside was my favorite feature because the color would hide splatters and the rounded edges would make for easy cleaning. Unfortunately, the keypad stopped working after 4 days. We didn't damage it in any way and I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but the buttons wouldn't work. I was very disappointed to have to return it, but I didn't want to take the chance of getting another one. I switched it out for a GE - 1.4 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave - White, Model: JES1460DSWW SKU: 3181006. This is the kind I had for 7 years before and I loved it. The only downside for this microwave is I had to order it and get it shipped to the store.

I find that even with a bright overhead light on in the kitchen this display panel is too small and too dark to read easily. Since I just bought it yesterday at the store, it's going back. I've heard great things about LG products. and this would have been my first purchase from that company. As it is, life is too short. It's going back to the store tomorrow!

I bought this microwave and 9 weeks later it failed. If it is plugged in, its running but doesn't actually heat anything. When I called LG for a refund or replacement they don't do that. They don't have a refund policy just a rebate policy during their 1 year warranty. This means if the device fails you have to buy a new one, send proof of purchase before they will give you your money back. Lesson learned- if you buy an LG product get the geek squad protection!

Do NOT be fooled by the picture of the panel for this microwave. The letters are actually a light grey on a black background and difficult to read. A very poor human interface design.

We really like a button on the opening system of a microwave much better than just jerking the door open, and this one has the button. He has a nice amount of features and cooks very well

Worked great until it broke down. Would have liked +30 second button and light.

I am sorry that I bought this Piece of Junk. AS many reviewers said you cannot see the keypad. The unit worked OK for 4 1/2 months but suddenly it showed an L on the display and the keypad would not function. I reset it several times and finally got an F-3 error code. I called warranty services and they said that they would reimburse me for the broken unit. Today I got the reimbursement form in my email. It is only good if I buy another LG microwave. I already bought a Sharp microwave and I wouldn't buy another appliance from LG. Appliances should last more than 4 1/2 months.

I opted for this LG due to the overall excellent reviews. Unfortunately, I neglected to read the "Questions and Answers" section before placing my order. I, like others, can't read the panel because the manufacturer didn't backlight it. Had I realized this I would have ordered a different model. What were they thinking? What good is a menu panel if you need a flashlight to read it? I bought this online and I live too far from a store to return it so I'll have to suck-it-up and live with it.

Great product. Met all my expectations. For the price it is great. Has more space then a Samsung product.

I did really like the features of this microwave, but after using it for just over a year, it completely died last night. Everything on it went out. The display will not light up and nothing will turn on. And of course the warranty is only good for 12 months. My last microwave was a cheapo Emerson from Walmart and it lasted 10 years. My LG refrigerator is also giving me problems. The lesson I have learned is to NEVER buy LG anything again.

Her microwave died and she needed a new one. She says this is really nice compared to the last one.
