Love this microwave oven, I bought it to replace a Panasonic that was very hard to shut the door. It had to be slammed. This one shuts very easy with minimum effort. I don't cook a lot in the microwave, mostly for warming foods and melting butter but I have been very happy with this purchase!

Since the area where the information & time is black, it is very hard to read what you want to do without a lot of lighting & eyeglasses. Can this be replaced with white background & black information

I was looking for a replacement microwave and this one had all the things I was looking for in a reasonably priced model. I've only had it for a few months but I'm very pleased with it so far...

I really like the look of the microwave and I think it heats better than my last one. The wheels on the part that turns the plate are a bit noisy though. Not that big of a deal.

It had all the features I want and works well. Only wish the keypad was lighter. It is hard to read what buttons to press. Need to light up or be in white. Other then that everything else works well.

I ordered the black version of this microwave to match my appliances. Overall, I am happy with the Microwave. I don't have a problem seeing the numbers on the buttons (although others have complained about that). Warming up food works out really well and is more thorough than my 16 year old microwave I replaced. My one complaint is that when you push the button to open the door, it has a metallic/plastic sound that sounds very cheap and week. Every time I open it, it sounds like the button is breaking and it really bothers me for some reason. If the button didn't emit a horrible clunky noise when you opened it, I would have given this a 5 start review.

Microwave works great, but the control panel is very dark, so for those who have a hard time seeing, like older parents/grandparents, make sure it's placed somewhere bright.

I love the look of the microwave .. It's not boxy like most others. There are many nice features and shortcuts. Easy to learn how to use it! Nice price.

I bought this as a replacement to a 2 year old LG that started working with the door open! So far, this model seems to be holding up to aggressive lunchroom use with no complaints.

We got a larger unit because it has a space saving power cord which allows us to get it closer to the back wall of the microwave shelf. Only had few weeks, but so far, so good.

has many functions that I like but very hard to see settings on control panel, need to keep flashlight handy to see to operate as there is no light and it is dark letterings

Overall great Microwave! The only down fall is that the numbers are hard to read in low light. You cant find the start and stop buttons.

At first I was worried that since the microwave key pad didn't have lights in order to see the number keys to punch. Anyway, found out later, no microwave brand luminates their number key pad. In summary, just need to look harder at the number key pad when keying the numbers.

LG microwave fits well on the countertop and has a quality look. It performs well and heats food quickly. I have used it for a month and it outperforms every hood/micro combo and cabinet installed microwave I have had in the past. My only issue was the shipping film on the micro was a pain to remove.

It was so easy to programe. From defrosting a frozen small turkey, warming up left overs, or popping some pop corn i never had any issue with doung anything i wanted to

This microwave is okay because I don't use it all that often. It's very noisy. The cover is attached crookedly, leaving a small gap. The dark interior makes it difficult to see how the food is coming along. It softens unevenly, melting one end of a stick of butter while leaving the other end untouched. We mainly use it for preparing frozen or canned veggies, so it's all right, but if I had to use it more extensively I'd return it.

This microwave is spacious and easy to clean. It is worth for its price. I love the cooking feature of this microwave. The keypad looked OK in the store with bright lights.

I had a similar-sized whirlpool microwave and the magnetron went out within 3 years of buying it. Customer service was not helpful. In looking to fix it, way too expensive. So I started reading reviews of similar-sized units. The LG reviews were pretty great and their warranty includes coverage of the magnetron (yay) and everyone raves about their customer service. I purchased this unit and it has exceeded my expectations. Easy to use, very cool looking, quiet. Fits perfectly in my wall cabinet. Honestly I like it better than the one I had before. Big enough to cook whatever I want and holding up well to daily use.

Really like the microwave other than 2 things. 1) Keypad is hard to see in low light. 2) After micro is finished it continues to beep if you do not remove item from micro.

Nice power and several features that may be useful, quick defrost, power level choice Etc. My complaint is it's quite loud and the beep it does to notify you it's done cooking is fine but repeats if not opened within about a minute.i find that annoying. I gave it a good rating because it handles all the basics well. The other issues are my personal preferences so I didn't want to negate the item as a whole.
