Had an old Panasonic microwave that lasted nearly 20 years before suddenly dying. Had to grab a new one and didn't want to shop around too much. Was looking for a decent middle-of-the-road unit and this one had a good price for my family. Don't ask our microwave to do much. Just re-heat the occasional leftover or defrost something for dinner. This unit does both well. Nothing too fancy. Easy to use. Punch in a time, hit start and you're good to go.

control buttons are clearly defined. you do not have to guess what a particular button does. time button vs power button is easy to determine. love the 30 second button, which can be hit more than once to increase time in 30 second increments.

Very pleased with the curved interior, easy to clean. However, the control panel is difficult to read in daylight. It showed up well in the bright lights of the store, but not so at home unless the lights are on. Even the picture on the box indicated that the control panel was white on black and easily visible. Overall, I like the many features and it is a good microwave.

I'm really happy with this microwave. So far, we've had no problems. The digital displays are still working fine, it is easy to use, easy to clean. It cooks everything well, and defrosts more evenly than my old microwave used to. Ours gets a LOT of use.

This microwave looks really nice and sleek compared to the competitors. One thing I love about this machine is that when I put popcorn in and hit the popcorn button, it actually pops the popcorn perfectly without burning or wasting a lot of kernels.

Had to replace my 8 year old microwave and it's a great improvement with heat times. A bit noisier than I would like but not enough to truly annoy me.

I looked at getting the bigger model, however this one works just fine for reheating food. If you need a countertop unit, this one is great for the price.

The circular design is awesome. Can fit more stuff inside and still have a small footprint on the outside. Very nice oven. I did allot of research based on specs as well and this one has good ones. great value for the price for sure.

Love this oven. Would have given it 5 stars if the touch pad was illuminated or easier to see at night. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

This LG microwave has the capacity and power you'd expect from more expensive brands. Has all the functions and settings you need to meet most needs.

I bought the same unit last year and after about eight months the motor stated making a loud noise as it ran. eventually the screen died and it would only work if you "defrosted veggies" eventually it all stopped working. I didn't get the warranty so I was on my own. I liked it otherwise so I bought the same unit again. One thing I noticed is that there a a clear film covering the side vents and I don't think I took that off the first unit. Mostly because I had no idea it was there. Hopefully now I won't have the same problems.

Was looking for a solid microwave that did not break the bank. We are still getting used to the features of this LG, but so far it seems to be a excellent value and a solid performer.

I really like how big it is. The stainless steel look makes it easy to clean. It's been great for making all kinds of foods, big or small. The one thing that I wish I could change is the buttons don't light up at all and it's very hard to see what numbers you're pushing. Otherwise it's great

I have enjoyed my new microwave. The interior with the curved edges make it so easy to keep clean. I have no issues with his microwave. Popcorn cooked in it was good as are the vegetables that I have cooked. All in all, a winner

I agree with the other reviewers who said that the keypad is hard to read, and I wish it had more one-touch features. But I don't think those are deal breakers. Otherwise, the oven is large- and powerful-enough for general use, and I like the rounded cavity (makes for easy cleaning). It hasn't given me any trouble, and I've used it pretty heavily for a month.

Looks real nice and works well. More power than the one we had. Looks nice next to our stainless steel L.G. refrigerator. The price was great!

In looking for a new microwave I first consulted with Consumer Reports and saw that this microwave scored very well with them. I then checked amazon and saw good reviews there as well. I was looking for a not too futuristic and simple to use stainless steel microwave oven that didn't have knobs and confusing features. This model fit the bill. We mainly use the EZ on button which is a 30 second heating button, and press it more times for additional increments of 30 seconds. The rounded walls inside the oven make cleaning/wiping much easier btw.

Our microwave bit the big one recently so this was an early Christmas present. So far, no problems. It works great and looks good. We have yet to put it through anything more complicated that reheating food. Will post again at that time.
