    This replaces our Panasonic microwave that we purchased back in the mid-1980's. A feature our old one had that we miss is a defrost power setting, which was good for thawing frozen bagels and slices of bread before toasting. Through trial and error we determined that 30% power is the setting for defrosting.

    Not happy with the fact that the buttons don't light up. The after beep keeps going until you open the door.

    We recently purchased our new microwave and are really enjoying it. It serves our needs in food preparation for two retirees. My husband enjoys it also! It is definitely "easy clean" as the LG description indicates which is a real plus. Our only regret is that it doesn't have a lighted number pad which in dim lights can be difficult to operate. We would however recommend this product to anyone wanting a stand alone microwave at a reasonable price!
