Had to return the first one we bought a week later because it developed a loud grinding sound when it was running. I think it was coming from the mechanism that spins the turntable. Have had this replacement for three weeks, and so far it's working fine. Cooks well, good features. We like the interior light that allows you to view the food as it cooks, and also comes on when the door is opened. Large interior space for big bowls etc.

I made the right choice by choosing this LG microwave. Easy to operate,set up and I like the silver/black design. There are many settings so you are able to prepare your items fast and easy

I'm very pleased with this microwave. It is such an improvement over my 20 year old one which bit the dust. I didn't particularly want a stainless steel one, but the only other choice was black. The interior is easy to clean. I prefer a turn table which this model has. When I was shopping I looked for one with a sensor option. There aren't many options, so that is a little disappointing. Not surprising given the price. All in all I'm pleased.

Ive had zero issues with our microwave. I read reviews about how people didn't like that it would beep until you opened the door but I like this feature. If you walk away, too far to hear the beep, you will get a simple reminder beep every minute to remind you that its done cooking. It is also very easy to use, some units you have to clear, then hit the power level, then the time... not this guy. Hit 2:00 start and you're off to the races!

I needed a microwave that was easy to use and had more space than my previous oven. This fits perfectly.

This microwave is very user friendly. I had 16 people over for Thanksgiving and several guests commented on how spacious and easy to clean it looked. I am thrilled with my purchase!

I am very pleased with this microwave. Very easy to use. Great size. The one feature that I really like is the curved inside. No more cracks and crevices to try to clean.

This is a great item, it is a perfect size, not too small and not too large. Very intuitive to use.

After reviewing about 12 different micro waves, we decided on the LG. This micro wave gives us a lot more flexibility with the size and east settings. My wife loves it.v

Only problem is the control panel is dark and hard to see,also no way to turn off turntable.

I haven't cooked anything in this microwave and I already know that it will be returned when Best Buy opens tomorrow. The design of the control panel makes it completely unusable in all but the brightest lighting conditions. In the store there was nothing to suggest that this would be a problem and I dismissed the other reviewers who indicated that in their kitchens the panel was hard to see. Actually, it's not hard. It's impossible. The first thing I did once I had it set up was to drop LG support a note asking if they had perhaps developed an aftermarket sticker to go over the current panel since this seemed to be a major complaint in the reviews. This was their (quite prompt, I might add) response. "Thank you for contacting LG appliance E-mail service! I can understand where you are coming from, your concern as well as your frustration and I apologize for the inconvenience. I am sorry to let you know that we do not have any aftermarket stick on label that would let you actually see how the controls are laid out in your countertop microwave. I hope I was able to help you with this information. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again via our LG E-mail, Live Chat, or by calling our Customer Service Toll Free number at 1-800-243-0000. The photos attached to this review show the panel under normal room lighting with the ceiling light on in daylight hours (the dark one) and what the panel looks light with the camera's flash enabled. Frankly, I don't intend to have to shine a light on the microwave each time I want to use it. The "poor" rating is because to me it doesn't matter how good the rest of the product is if it can't be used. There's no point in having a Bentley in the driveway if you don't have the key to open the doors. I'll be looking for a replacement tomorrow.

Love how easy it is to clean. Wish the control panel had back lighting so it was easier to see.

Looking for a stainless microwave with perfect dimensions to fit into a previously built microwave stand. Also, needed it to work well on the small jobs we use a microwave for. This fits the bill perfectly and the price was very good.

I sold my large microwave convection oven with my home, so this microwave is quite a bit smaller and is fairly basic. I'll get my main complaints out of the way. The touch-control panel has absolutely no illumination and is quite difficult to read, even with the kitchen lights on. Also, while the unit does have several specialty functions, the manual that comes with the microwave gives very little guidance as to what is recommended for cooking and reheating various types of foods - especially reheating instructions, which is what I mainly use my microwave for. Two of the specialty functions are really great and work well. One is to melt a certain amount of butter, etc. and the other is to soften similar items. Other great functions are the EZ-ON and More/Less controls. The dark gray interior and the curved back of the inside also make this unit very easy to keep clean. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this unit and the very modest price.

Replaced a 900 watt unit with this 1100 watt model. Very happy with performance and functionality. Styling is good in our kitchen.

This mid-sized LG replaced our large Panasonic, which gave up the ghost after 12 years. So far the size is fine for us, and everything works well. I miss a couple of the Panasonic features, especially the sensor reheat, but there are compensating features like the LG's ability to program two cooking stages at different power levels. I rated it 4 instead of 5 only because I am still getting used to it.

Seems to be a good microwave so far. Have only had is for a couple weeks. We had a 2 Cu. Ft. before purchasing this 1.5 and there really isn't too much difference. We never cooked big casserole in the microwave anyway and it was wasted space. One thing I do miss is the automatic 1 minute if you push 1 and 2 minute if you push 2....and so on. Another thing missed is there isn't a 30 second button. But can't beat the price.

The microwave fits perfect on my counter. It is easy for all family members to use.
